Glad you found it useful. I will admit I was planning on a follow up super-sizing this to a more realistic big city, and it starts to fall apart there. Haven't got to the bottom of it yet but I think transport latency is too much to overcome. Still, hope it helps.
Watch how Captain Ahvious does it in his series. He makes the industry mechanics work for him so that he never ever has bad traffic, and he sorts this problem out by good road design.
Just found his video from about a month ago, presuming that is what you're referring to. At the end, you can see it has the problems I solved in my video. Processing facilities lacked goods from time to time, and he was intentionally letting extraction cap on output which is a waste to me. Traffic isn't the primary problem, but goods flow. I will follow up by super-sizing my test build to make sure it works well with all industries.
my problems is that my storage are all emptying at all time with full truck send out but cant stack up anything cause all warehouse sending all the truck at 1%
I still have a raw material problem from my GENERIC industry areas. Even though I have 5 stars on all 4 specialized industry areas, warehouses with materials made in each of the four (petroleum, timber, etc.) I still have GENERIC industry that says they don't have RAW MATERIALS. So, I put STORAGE facilities of raw materials from EACH OF THE 4 specialized industry area types near my generic industry and they STILL say they don't have raw materials. I have cargo trains near all my industry areas (generic and specialized), cargo harbors and a cargo airport as well and 85% traffic. I'm at a loss.
What I have in this video worked for smaller or more simple cities, but it does fall apart for bigger and more complicated cities. I haven't found a way around it yet.
