Just getting back into golf and really enjoy your videos. I have been using your live leaderboard the last two weeks and playing H2H matchups in multibets. Havent hit a big one yet but been very close. I had been using putting as a main indicator and OTT also but wasnt paying much attention to T2G so this was valuable. Cheers brother.

Hey Rick, just making sure I don't mess this up. So, when betting H2H using your leaderboard, for round 3 matchups, we should use the previous TWO rounds, not just the round 2 numbers alone for this system correct? And for round 4 matchups we use the previous THREE rounds for our analysis not just round 3 numbers correct? Thanks man, I appreciate the time and energy you put into all this.
Hey Rick great video as usual. I have a suggestion to add to your theory that I believe improves it. Some of the best putters are plus strokes putting almost every week. And Visa Versa. Why not judge their strokes gained/lost by an average putting performance by them vs how they were putting this week.
Yes, this is spot-on. I actually have this built into my "Showdown Cheat Sheet" that's a tool on the site. It compares each golfer to their baseline. I just wanted to offer a free option as well.
Do you have a video or link that explains how golfers get plus and minus points for each category? I'm guessing something like making putts beyond a certain distance/percentage gives them a stroke in putting? And missing putts within a short distance gives them negative points for putting?
Shea Stehm I’m on mobile so don’t have the link handy but there is an article called Strokes Gained Explained somewhere on the Internet. Basically ever position on a hole has a stroke value assigned to it based on historic shots. Then if you beat the average from that spot, you’ve “gained”. That’s a very very very simple way to look at it. It’s a great little stat, I love it.

When you’re looking at round 4 matchups, do you only use round 3 data or combine round 1, 2, and 3 when looking at SG:putt and TTG??? Thanks!
Matt S I would use either all three rounds or just the third. Obviously more rounds gives a better idea of the whole week but R3 might expose some really strong bounce back guys.
So what if both golfers have similar T2G numbers, but one has positive SG:Putting, closer to his baseline numbers, and the other has negative SG:Putting numbers. Do you still think that the golfer with the negative SG:Putting will do better the next round?
John Adams not necessarily. Remember, you don’t have to bet every matchup. If two guys are close just take a pass and move on. 👍
Where do we find the matchups? Every time I look on dk in the H2H it's always just against other dk players not golfer. V golfer?
