Hi Louise, very helpful. When asking for recommendations the reason it gives doesn't fit my relationship with them. For instance...'colleague at work'. Is there a way round this? Thanks

Loved this video! I shared it on my LinkedIn profile. Whoopee. So putting a bit of your advice into action.
Here are some of the gems I captured.
"Make your profile interesting so that people want to follow you."
"You must start conversations for people to see you."
"Don’t say I’m giving an update INSTEAD say “I’m starting a conversation.”"
"Start commenting on posts of people who are . . . strategically . . . near to you." (In other words not just everybody.)
Worth a listen and in my case probably a second one.
