APARTHOTEL ADAGIO Marne-La-Vallée Val d'Europe at Disneyland Paris FULL Tour | Disney PARTNER Hotels

  • ► Join me for a FULL TOUR of the Adagio Marne-la-Vallée Val d'Europe, near Disneyland Paris. This Disneyland Paris partner hotel is located at only a 10 minute journey from the parks, and is one of the CHEAPEST Disneyland Paris Partner hotels available. It offers small apartment rooms, and a free shuttle bus to the Disneyland Paris parks. In this video, I show you a DETAILED tour of the reception, swimming pool, and most importantly, the ROOM itself.
    Despite this hotel being partnered with Disneyland Paris, I was quite disappointed with my stay here. The hotel feels very dated, and even though it has a good location close to Val d'Europe Shopping Centre, I don't see myself returning to stay there again anytime soon.
    But what about you? Have you ever stayed at the Adagio Marne-la-Vallée Val d'Europe near Disneyland Paris? Would you consider staying there in the future?
    If you enjoyed this video, I'd appreciate you liking it :) And please subscribe for more similar videos x

    I'm at minute 15, at the part with the door, and I'm glad that you've shown that. As a solo female traveler myself I wouldnt feel comfortable in a room (that people from the parking lot can see) with a door that is essentially not working properly and looks like it's been broken several times before :(
    Edit: I'm continuing now, and wow; if even one light and switch aren't working, and the bed is so uncomfortable that you haven't slept well - then they don't do the job, I have to say! Again, I'm glad that you're showing these things and I understand you don't want to be too negative, but I also wouldnt downplay this kind of thing, not even at a "affordable" accommodation tbh.

      I agree the door looks like it’s been broken in to before

    • @Sam4G0d
      @Sam4G0d  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Yeah, personally - a not so comfortable bed I can deal with. As you said, the main issue really only was the door and how dated the whole room/apartment felt overall. The "official" photos online make it look SO much better! I've had a look at other reviews since and most seem to have a similar experience to me.
      I hope this video at least gives a better, more accurate representation of the state of the hotel rooms. It's definitely the worst Disney partner hotel I've tried! x

    I would highly recommend this hotel. I stayed here 3 times in 2019, twice with my daughter and grandson and then with my son and daughter. Unlike you we couldn't fault it. The reception smelt lovely when we entered it on all occasions. I for one can't wait to go back there, even if not visiting Disney.

    "For the price I can't complain" Sam! Yes you can! 😂 No matter how cheap a hotel is it should at least have a secure door! Thank you for the review, personally I think I would avoid this one and spring a little extra for B&B Hotel if I'm doing a budget trip.

      @Sam4G0d  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Haha true! Defo won't be rushing back to stay there - I've seen a lot of similar reviews online since. B&B is a much better (and safer) option x

      I liked Adaggio better, just because it has a bath, a kitchenette...solo I would choose B&B, but with more people I think Adaggio is more convenient.

    Hello Sam! Once again thank you for the information, it makes it easier for us to choose, especially coming from abroad. That room is so claustrophobic, and my anxiety levels would be high thinking of the door knob and no burglar bars on the window.... I'm really sorry you had to stay there. keep well, greetings from Cape Town

    Thanks so much for this. The reception and facilities and location all looked great but when you got to the room I felt so uneasy! The front door looked as if it had been jemmied before! And such a thin door to the outside. That’s 2 red flags. Then the bed and pillows were not comfy even for exhausted Disney sleep (red flags again)! After that I was out and just decided to cancel my reservation here. As a female solo traveller I decided it’s not for me!
    Thanks again for filming and for your honest review of your experience.

    Great video Sam, we actually stayed there back in 2009 for our first ever trip to DLP. On check in I’m not sure why but the guy on the front desk upgraded us (maybe because I was wearing my New Zealand sweatshirt and he knew we had travelled a long way.) haha. Looking at your room I am grateful now we were. It was cheap but clean and spacious. as we spent all day in the parks. We got the free bus each day but if we had known we could of walked to and from the parks we might of given that option a try. xx

    I really appreciate your honest opinion! The dodgy door would also worry me too, so you’re not alone there. The only positives I can see, are the ones you pointed out, potentially good for families, the convenience of an apartment type room can be really handy with kids and overall cut some costs…. BUT I’d definitely be checking the door

    • @Sam4G0d
      @Sam4G0d  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Thanks for the tour, i'm really interested in offsite hotels, i've only ever stayed onsite or done it as a day trip from Paris. We're just thinking about planning our next trip so somewhere a bit more budget would be good, but i don't think i'd be tempted by this one!

    • @Sam4G0d

    Oh my god that apartment made me feel sad, I don’t know how to explain it! I would definitely pick B&B if I were on a budget, it’s got everything you need, it’s still relatively new and got much better vibes, like you said!
    I loved how you were trying to be as nice as possible in the review!

    • @Sam4G0d
      @Sam4G0d  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks Chiara! I didn't really want to complain as it was fine for the few days I stayed there, but defo not somewhere I'd rush to stay again. Yeah, I agree - the B&B is much better x

    Sam!! thanks so much for sharing this video I was especially interested in the walk from Val d'EU - I've been researching it for a while on google maps - Could you please film the walk (even if you post it sped up 😆?) or maybe post the route somehow...I notice that DLP have been building a new road for a while that would make it even easier/quicker to the parks and wondered if they were now finished and if that was the route you took?

    Must say another great vlog Sam. Information very good. I am surprised that Disney is apparently approving this hotel. I can see it could make the trip more affordable but it would appear that the Disney standards are not being met. Do you agree ?

  • @dianefoulkes7242
    @dianefoulkes7242 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Thanks for showing the hotel Sam , I would have changed the room straight away if I couldn't get in , I think the B&B hotel is much better , but I am staying in the Campanille hotel in May have you done a tour of those rooms ? Also can I ask you if there is a Disney staycation cruise this project year ? Great video as always 😊

    • @Sam4G0d
      @Sam4G0d  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Diane ☺️ it was quite late when I checked in, and from what I’ve seen on videos and online, most rooms look the same and have very mediocre - bad reviews 😕 apart from the door, I didn’t have much of an issue with the rest of the room and thought it’s fine to handle for a couple of nights. I’d have défo changed if I was there for a longer stay!
      I haven’t done a Campanille hotel tour video yet, though remember staying there for one night a few years ago and it was pretty good. Hoping to stay there properly on a future trip.
      Regarding Disney staycation cruises, I’m not sure - don’t think anything’s been announced yet xx

    Try the Adagio HiPark Serris one, we had a one bedroom apartment and it was fine- a bit dated and slightly worn out round the edges but plenty of space and the location is fab.

    Love that food ordering machine and the personal wash bags etc…..
    Great you can walk to and from the park….
    Maybe you could say roughly how much the hotels are….from-- top cost.
    Wow people passing by the bedroom window with no frosting…. Crazy!!
    You’d think that should be the bathroom in usual layouts.
    The kitchenette area is nice…..
    The hotel does look like it needs some TLC to say the least…..!!👍🇬🇧

    We have stayed there once and liked it a lot! Not the hotel itself perse, but the location next to Val ' d Europe and nice restaurants ( a great tapas place!) and a little bakery. Walking distance to the parks. Not too fancy but back then (2017) in our opinion great value for money.

    • @Sam4G0d

    I stayed in an adagio apartment when I visited Strasbourg, and I have to say, that one was nicer than this. But yeah, you could use them as temporary flats I think, so it does make sense that you can receive mail. Since you're practically on your own, our room wasn't cleaned either (only before we arrived and after we left of course), and this was way before COVID. We didn't mind, I don't need my room cleaned daily anyway. But yeah, if you ever want to visit Strasbourg, the adagio there was quite nice. But staying in Val d'Europe is always nice, I love the area and the mall. The Ibis and Ibis Budget in Val d'Europe are worth a visit, they should be equally cheap but a better standard.

    Hi! Cool video... I have a question, so when we book to stay in this hotel do I have to book extra tickets for Disneyland or is the ticket included? We have never been and planing to go with kids but on the budget is not so easy 🙃😉

    Oh no! Honestly the Hipark one is my fave (I think that’s the other Adagio you mentioned, since they rebranded a few years ago) I always confused this one with that one, I like being close and spend about 0 time in the hotel other than sleeping. But haven’t seen the video yet! Will comment again when I have seen it.

    • @Sam4G0d
      @Sam4G0d  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, the other nearby (non Disney partnered) Adagio is I believe what used to be called “Hipark” and I’ve heard good things about that one! I walked past it a couple of times on this trip too, and kept wishing I was in that one instead. I’ll try it on a future trip ☺️

    • @CatSMS
      @CatSMS 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Sam4G0d I really recommend the Hipark hotel. It is even a shorter walk to the parks. I agree with you walking to the parks is lovely, probably one of my fave parts. Have you already stayed in the Ibis in val d europe? That´s another one we stay often. It is a bit of a longer walk but I also love walking from there to the parks. Might be just me though haha.

      This place seems to have pretty mediocre to negative reviews all around. Normally, I don’t mind a basic hotel for Disney, as I spend most of my time in the parks. But this one felt a little subpar to just basic 😕

    I hate that western hotels don't supply soaps and tissues. In Japan they always have shampoo, conditioner, body soap and tissues in the room for guests. That just feels like quality service to me, rather than making the guest bring their own or buy them. (/boomerrant haha)
