Okay, so I've been listening to Phutureprimitive for about 9 years now (since Kinetik), and I've been listening to Massive Attack since Mezzanine dropped in 98... How did I not know this existed?
I love this and I have adored the original for decades. Amazing innovative music is always going to be an inspiration for other artists. That does nothing but make me happy. :)
They played this at house of blues Boston back in 2014 or 2015. I swear the whole entire audience was vibing to the same frequency when they did this cover ❤

@talisman006 No, this song remains faithful to the experience of the original song whilst moving into (laterally) into a new genre, not better or worse but fantastic - like the original.

How does his stuff sound sound perfectly crisp? It’s like just what it is, when compared to other EDM. Like every writhe and twist is just so excellently itself. Other music sort of sounds like the distortion is an accident. Not this.
I really didn't like the distortion of her gentle clean voice, that's what makes the original song in my opinion. I think this whole mix should feel softer, as the song is. That's what I'm used to from Phutureprimitive anyways.

Personally I have a bone to pick with most people that get pissy about this kinda thing, they aren't damaging the original song and by saying shit like this people attempt to limit the potential of an artist, such as Phutureprimitive.
+Karmastocracy Overcompressed, standart stupid wooble bass, which is used in over 9000 dubstep tracks, certainly is NOT creativity. I really liked Phutureprimitive before they started doing that shitty psy dubstep. :(
