This music is so fucking beautiful! I love the community/ village vibe it gives off and the notes are to die for. It's amazing how this group of tuareg people on the other side of the world can make me feel some of the same energy that I experience in Jewish celebrations as a Jewish American male(I mean like in big celebrations like weddings where people are lifted while sitting on chairs or while doing the horah or something like that). It's truly amazing how such distant cultures can exhibit the same primal human functions of tribalism and community. Now that I think about it, I also think it's interesting that both groups(the jews and tuaregs) have a history of oppression and I wonder if that plays in a bit to the community thing, like almost beung more connected in order to survive in a way. Anyway, I digress and I dont mean to say anyone's struggle is harder or easier than another's as everyone is unique and experiences life through a relative and subjective lens
