It's been said the difference between movie stars and career actors is that working actors work. All the time. Their only goal is to earn a living solely off their craft, no matter the medium. We could say the same holds true for a good working coffee roaster-faithfully logging in the roasting hours as the dependable, lovable "series regular" in your shop. If that's the kind of role you need to fill, then this 2004 3kg US Roaster Corp Millennium is the right roaster for the job.
This "true blue" roaster was purchased by the current seller from the original owner in 2019. He's used it for the past five years in his East Coast micro-roastery location to help support his Midwest roaster-retailer operations.
This 3kg machine has had a pretty sweet gig. It roasted around 25 lbs a week (that's about 3-4 roasts/week) for a few years before bumping up production for the last couple of years. It comes with a dual thermocouple and Phidget kit for Cropster/Artisan connecting (not currently installed). The owner is only selling this little guy because he's graduated to a larger machine to handle their growing production demands.
Fun fact: The US Roaster Corp Millennium line is still going strong and roasting award-winning coffee, as we mention on this (much) larger Millennium listing. A dedicated, expert team has designed, fabricated, manufactured, and built all US Roaster Corp roasters in the USA for the past 40+ years.
