Ok. 63yo lady here so forgive my ignorance - where's the insulation? Wishing you a Happy and Warm Christmas, Chris. Can't wait to see what it'll look like when it's completed. Well done so far. x
Keep going mate! Not sure why there seems to more and more negative comments coming. Even if you don't manage to finish on time you're still going to have your own home at the end of it.
thank you for posting every day this month, I've enjoyed watching your videos. the one suggestion for the bath I can give is, to run your plumbing lines now and include shutoff valves; that way, you can have running water in the kitchen before the bath is done and you will also appreciate those shutoffs if you ever have to change out a bathroom plumbing fixture in future. and happy holidays
Chris - love your channel and mindset so much. Can you put in the description of your videos all the tools you use and where you get them from (feel free to even use affiliate links for $) - would just be great to get a comprehensive list of used and approved tools coming from a DIY hobbyist
Personally i would of dropped that and focused on the rest of the house and dealt with the bath close to last as with the time its taken you with the bath you could of got much more of the house done which you have recognised
Well done listening to the last videos comment feedback, this video is a lot more focused on the build than motivational speeches which i feel everyone wants(motivation is okay when applied in modesty, if you overdo it it loses its potency and just gets boring). Also one more piece of advice, while frequent uploads do help the youtube algorhitm that won't matter if most of your fans stop watching the vids because they often have very little going on. I think you should complete your every day posting challenge since you are already close to completing it but in the future space the videos out to maybe twice a week, it will be much easier on you and also you will have a lot more material to work with to make the video, making it more interesting while not making most of your fans feel like they have to skip or speed the video up(since the current ones feel drawn out). That way you won't have to run into these issues anymore since otherwise your channel is great, informational and your work ethic and hustle at such a young age is enough of an inspiration itself. Best of luck with the build!
Am I missing out on something, or will the bath stick out underneath the house? Also what if some tree seed or smth was dropped underneath the house and will grow through the floor? Is that possible? Just wondering. I am not a contractor, although the floor looks so thin and cold. How many layers should be put on top of that floor to make it feel somewhat warm? And when it's raining and the ground is wet, how bad will it affect the floor, may the mold get inside because of it?
@@Marco-qc9yuOr even lifts up the bath like a boat! Never underestimate water pressure. In my work, I've known huge interceptor tanks float up out of concrete during a pour if they're not anchored down beforehand. This could have an impact on cracking future tiling.
Hope you have a caravan you can pop on the garden & live out of, while you get it finished as alot of places will be on restricted hours from tomorrow ...
I really want to see this project do well Chris but the whole sunken bath thing has really thrown you off course and over complicated the house when surely a nice big luxury walk in shower would be better anyway?
Merry Christmas ..I reckon you can do it..some advice on the house and bath/flexibility on the schedule may help? Looking forward to seeing the finished house. Cheers. Thanks for the sharing. X
do you not find it hilarious also that you think anyone cares about your opinion which is literally worthless? like not metaphorically but literally objectively/economically etc worthless

chris im sorry mate... you're not up to schedule for the losers in the comments.... you need to get their permission in the future if you want to make any changes on your project, and you need to meet the standards of the guys in the comments because they are experts!

How will the drain when it's so much lower than the house
Mate ditch the bath and just go with a shower

Or how about a big rain comes and undermines the foundation block you can see in the corner. Ugh.
At this point.. I can’t look away.

This Bath is going to be your entire home in 10 days time.Good luck!
That's amusing to see you watering your concrete blocks. The may not sprout, but hopefully they'll take root.
Having followed from the London project I always think of this quote when I see negative comment ……underestimate me ….that will be fun.

When’s the next newsletter?
Isn't this the same video uploaded for the past few days with different commentry? Just uploading for views at the moment...
makes sense now I know youre only working two hours/day around work. x
Still not updated the description
hey chris im west london based if you need a hand for a day or two ,could give you a hand lmk?
has anyone else realised these last few days are actually all filmed in the same day? 🤣 the guys a joke
You think he just goes to the house for 8 minutes to record and leave 😂😂 Ofcourse it’s the same day.
Why dont you just put in a shower tray temp and theb come back to it later
I think you better find somewhere to rent for a month because you will not be moving into this place in 10 days.
Do the lowered bath later if you extend in the future. You can use a digger to do the hole 😅
Honestly this is hilarious!! We all told you not to do it.
True that, but at the end of the day it's his house. I guess he just wanted his vision to come true. It's a shame that this bath thing is so fd up
more people in the world should listen to you and it would be a much better place
do you not find it hilarious also that you think anyone cares about your opinion which is literally worthless? like not metaphorically but literally objectively/economically etc worthless
I prefer showering to baths anyways
You literally have made no progress in the last 10 days lmao

The man's exhausted yet still working hard AND puting out vids every day.
Don't look if you don't want to!!
Keep going, Chris! x
