Bernth, I have a request. Please release some content on how to stay relaxed while playing, correct posture, mistakes that increase tension and reduce fluidity. I've seen so many videos talking about what to do on the guitar but so few talking about what to do with your body while playing. Great stuff as always \m/
Hey Bernth, great video! Regarding credits for the walk/run part that you call out, I first heard the concept in John Petrucci's Rock Discipline video. Respect to you for calling that out! Needless to say, I consider you another guitar god like Petrucci :)
Thanks a lot ! Gonna adopt this closed hand technique. I ve seen that a good trick is to hold another pick in your three last fingers to help your brain to keep the closed hand position. Damned, on the Fender Strat my right hand, when closed, is bothered by the volume button ....
I working on your 4 week 1 lesson per week video. I got through the first week clean and mean . the second week I noticed I wasn't playing on my finger tjps. Is slowed down my string g transitions. So when I saw this video pop up .I decided to take a step back and do this first .Thanks
My old guitar teacher was a big proponent of eliminating unneeded finger movement, and keeping the fingers as close to the fretboard as possible. So, naturally, I have too much excessive finger movement. 😢 It's a hard habit to break.
Thanks for sharing! One quick questions regarding picking / pick angle: I get the idea of saving motion and building consistency, etc. What I have seen though is, e.g. from our beloved Ola, is that for some situations drastically changed picking angles are used. E.g. shredding versus hard riffing, where Ola even angles the pick backwards, significantly reducing string rubbing noises and gets a much clearer tone. How would you suggest to approach this? Stick with only one pick holding type or switch depending on situation? Thanks in advance, Danke!
Nice, again I learned something I didn´t knew so far or I looked at it from the wrong (for me) perspective, whenever I watch Bernth´s Lessons Content it´s always like that. And of course for me - still being a Beginner since I started learning Guitar in March 2023 - as I continuously keep growing as a Guitarist BECAUSE I learn from others Guitarists/ Teachers & Professional Artists & Musicians like him... *...that´s why A: I can´t stop loving to play Guitar everyday since then xD ...and B: because of the Influence Bernth and a few particularly other Guitarists especially here on TH-cam had on Me & My Motivation to keep doing this without stopping or some lazy excuses not to do so...* *...therefore I can only say THANK YOU* ❤🙏🏻 & *I appreciate what you & others do more then I can express in any other way then as to SHARE My OWN JOURNEY to become a Professional Guitarist myself someday...* yeah to share it here on TH-cam as a *'Content Creator' in some way too... where I share my Progress, Failure, Mistakes and everything related to it for others the same way ^^* Music is something seriously mysterious sometimes for me... I mean because of what it can do and how it can change people (and sometimes even their whole life in a direction that fruitful & positive, they´d never had imagined to be there), ...I guess that also must be the reason why I love it sooooo much xD I don´t know (yet...) but I WILL FIND it OUT for SURE, in the Future! *Aye! Have a good one @ Everyone & Greetings here from Germany ^^* 🎸😤🤟🏻 ~ *DET*
