District 9 is their debut song!
They have a couple pre-debut songs from the survival show that’s why people gets confused. Woojin is in all songs until Levanter (late 2019/early 2020)
woojin left right before clé: levanter released
he actually recorded the songs and MV with the members, the comeback was delayed bc they had to re-record all the songs and re-shoot some scenes of the mv (the editors were able to work with most of the already-filmed scenes but they needed more content).
The comeback was supposed to happen october 2019, woojin left (or was kicked out, up to this date there's only rumors out there and no one knows exactly what happened) by the end of october and the comeback was postponed for november 14th 2019.
So any MVs and content before that is gonna have woojin in it

This song is weird as some members do things they are not usually doing in other songs.
This song was their debut song and its amazing I love all the raps but Felix just brings something different for me.
Also I still can't get over that this song was their debut song it's amazingly done and the raps are everything

Woojin was the main vocalist in stray kids he left for unkown reasons in late 2019 and he is going solo now redebuted in 2021

This is their debut song so it has 9 ppl in it, every music video of theirs has 9 members in it up until the end of 2019. This includes other content like interviews, variety shows etc.
Fun fact, Felix (Yongbok) and Chris (Bang Chan) grew up in the suburbs of Sydney Australia and moved to Korea to train with Jyp to become artists.

Woojin left right after Double knot so last part of 2019. He was not in the 'Levanter' promotions or the M/V. He is in the albums 'I am not', 'I am who', 'I am you', 'cle 1: Miroh'' and 'cle 2: Yellow Wood'. :))
Just a little something... I think the reason why Woojin got so much hate when he left was partially because no one really saw it coming and needed a reason for him leaving other than him just wanting to do something different. And also because when the rumors came out everyone was in disbelief and didn't know what to believe. The people who obviously had something against him yelled the loudest so others started to believe them and people who didn't know what to believe was silent. Only a small group of people supported him when he had a hard time. So I am really happy that you commented on his voice.
I am not saying that anyone was wrong or right. Personally I just kept silent... But all the hate really became so much to a point that people pointed fingers at him at literally everything he had ever done. Honestly people made him into the biggest a**hole, to the point it was unbelievable. I think for many fans Woojin is a very tender topic of discussion.
This whole journey so far is you both trying to figure out who's member is who 😂 I personally had to watch their mvs multiple times back and forth just to fully appreciate everything lmao. Anyways your struggle is fun to watch. Reminds me of my olden days kkkkk

In District 9 they break out of the “mold” and are looking for a place they belong. All the later albums connect to that journey of identifying who they are and their struggles and then finally inviting everyone in (GM & BD)

They didn't escape District 9. They escaped the generic, institution-like system (the mainstream of life and the music industry) and fled to go _form_ their own safe place where they could be authentic and individual: District 9. As in, the nine original members of SKZ. Even today, they refer to their "district," the place where anyone is accepted.
levanter is the first music video without woojin. that is in the end of 2019.

Thank you for the reaction!! They have so many great songs, so it's hard to choose but maybe I would recommend 'Domino' and 'Charmer'. They are bsides and have no MV, but they're soo good. Maybe you could watch a lyric video first and then for Domino the dance practice (one of their best ones in my opinion!) and for Charmer the concert performance.
Another song I really love is 'Any' and it has an MV!
If you want to check out their vocals a bit more, I would definitely recommend their 'First Take' performances of 'Scars', 'Slump' and 'Mixtape OH'. They are really good :)

The first you count 8 member is because there was no Bang Chan, the story of the MV is these 8 member is stuck in the form everybody want to be, like a robot, but Bang Chan appeared at 3:26 and send messages to them and break them free, follow the storyline of the MV you will understand why

I think you would like The Tortoise and the Hare its a play on the story “the tortoise and the hare” and it is one of the most unique songs I’ve heard in kpop. Ofc there is no music video so you should check out the lyric video it would also help to get to know their voices better.
