Love And Rockets at Lollapalooza on 3 August 2008 in Chicago. Perry Farrell introducing the band and first song, Ball Of Confusion. I don't own the rights of it.
Beatle Bob's NOT RIGHT PLAYLIST: Love And Rockets (1985) “Ball Of Confusion" - Love And Rockets were three guys from goth godfathers Bauhaus who sold out to mere “Modern Rock” in the late ‘80s - one of those “alternative” bands that supposedly didn’t exist on the radio until Nirvana came along, even though they had a #3 hit (“So Alive”) in 1989. Given the mannered way Daniel Ash tells us to “rap on brother, rap on,” this cover of the apocalyptic 1970 hit Motown psych-out by The Temptations they released as their debut single was perhaps their awkward attempt to jump on that new-fangled hip-hop bandwagon they’d heard about. They even snuck in a Reaganomics mention! But mainly they proved that pompous British people should neither try to sing nor be funky. th-cam.com/video/-ALRLZQf42s/w-d-xo.html
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this string is now dumber for having read it.
Because is rock’n roll; artist always should be with the minorities, to fight for their cause. The US is then only place were artists are right wing...because Hollywood is a business not an artistic expression
Lalapaliooza didn’t know what they had there! I love L&R!
Loved this song in the 80's, and its still good in 2018.
22 too!!
This is a banger...
These dudes rock...
My favorite cover, ever, and even better live than it was as a single way back when.
The coolest band of the world, Perry Farrell was right.
Manel Navarro
The fans don’t realize they are witnessing the most innovative and prolific guitarist in Post-Punk history.
Underrated band... psychedelic and waaaaaaaay cool
Everyone is just standing around.. I'd be jamming so hard!
good lord what a start !!!!
Just saw a Volkswagen commercial tonight and it had Yin and Yang & the Flowerpot Man playing in the background. Almost pissed my pants… So cool!
Ha! That's awesome!
On an episode of American Dad as well, the pot man . Lol..
✨2022!!✨ 🙏
🌺 HEY HEY!! 🎶 ✨
The majority of these fans don't have a clue where this song originated. Produced by the Temptations in 1970.
its a great cover...
Yep the temptations but these guys knock it out of the park
I didn’t until I read your comment. Thanks posting 4 years ago.
Music tends to be a learning experience
One of the most amazin' bands in the world just after Bauhaus!!!
This is a song by the Temptations 1970. Still true today. Widespread Panic does a very good live cover as well.
sunuva bitch! I have been jamming to that song for 31 years and never knew. Just watched a Temptation video. That song was great too.
Phenomenal, teach brothers.
Political song that describe year 2022.
❤
gran banda
This and No Nu Tale to Tell are the two best Love and Rockets songs, IMHO.
Up Dates ❤
PUBLICO AMARGO!!!
One hit which was a fast version of a blues tune that should have been a warning...hence why they needed multiple voices...
La versión de " ball of confusion "
De Duran Duran para su disco de covers " thank you " es una joya.
Music starts at 2:21.
Cosmic...
creo que le falto volumen mas alto a esa guitarra para escuchar bien su estridencia, pero bueno fue un lollapalooza
Years ago, Jane's Addiction went on their first major tour OPENING for L&R, then in 2008 they are OPENING for them at Lollapalooza?!?!
Yup, saw Jane's Addiction open for Love and Rockets at the Wiltern Theater in LA in 1988... amazing show from both bands!
I was at this festival and L&R opened for Nine Inch Nails, not Jane’s
Valeu
i thought underrated of a band
BENJAMIN SCISLY Very true, they were considered a good band of the era when they were actually one of the best.
✨✌️💜🌍🙏
Q buena rola ochentera le faltó más power pero se oyeron bien

Perry os still as nauseating as ever... I saw Janes Addiction and Love and Rockets together late 80s

Because is rock’n roll; artist always should be with the minorities, to fight for their cause. The US is then only place were artists are right wing...because Hollywood is a business not an artistic expression
Love and Rockets always was waaaaay better than Bauhaus. Peter Murphy really is unnecessary
He literally plays 1 chord all song, and peeps say this is a good cover. You takin the piss
Limoozeen who says it has to be complicated to be good
Too bad the drummer has the groove too fast and just wrong...
Wow..never heard of these cats before but they certainly took a big crap on one of the best Temps songs ever.. Damn that was just stale.
