Huge help thank you! I was going to replace the belt, that's how I found the video. Thankfully I realized my rear end was lose aswell. Was able to tighten everything up and it's working properly!
Thanks for the detailed video!! Appreciate you taking the time to post it, I was lying on my back under the mower, pondering how the hell do I get this belt on 😂😂😂😂
I have an AC130 which was a clone of your Regent. My drive belt just went & I was dreading replacing it. Thank you for saving me time & blood pressure. 😅
Thank you! I was about to replace the drive belt and saw your video. Both bolts on 1 side were missing. Replaced them and needed to tighten the other side. Running like new!
Thank You for your Video Help .the bracket on my transmission left side@2:16 in the video broke I had the same issue with broken bolts. I did replace the belt it was about 1 1/2 " stretched longer. Fortunately the small steering gear on my snapper SPX is removable and then you drop the gear and push the shaft up thanks for your video It took me so long to replace this but I did. The 2 small tension pulleys gave me the worst time to get loose.
Thank you so much; I’ve ordered a new belt, and was just trying to find a way of getting past the steering column when I saw your video. And yes, two missing bolts! Will get those replaced and let you know how I get on
I just experienced the same issue with the bolts coming loose and the belt came off and went below the white fan at the bottom of the pulley. I’m trying to figure out how to get slack on the belt to get it back above the white fan and on the pulley. The same bolts came loose on my machine.
Those other videos should be removed from the internet as they do More harm than good Thanks so much. My tractor is the Snapper version. NXT2346. Same mower with different plastic body
Interesting, Ive just replaced my drive belt and now my mower wont turn over, even with the spark plug out.. So do you think ive got the clutch in wrong ? its got me baffled. It all fitted back on the spline but just wont tuen over , even by hand
Hmmm.. don't know for sure. If the starter isn't engaging at all I would make sure your deck didn't accidentally get engaged (yellow pull button) or that your park brake switch is working If the starter is engaging I would check to ensure that the belt is loose when you push the Brake pedal down. If not, the belt is not the right size or is miss routed. Hopefully that has you running across something Best of luck
@@bantambrio Cheers for the info, when you said the belt should be loose, made me think and it wasn't. after closer inspection the belt had come off the front pulley and was jammed between the pulley and clutch, all working as it should. thanks

Thanks for the walkthrough! I'd seen the folks pulling the steering completely and wasnt really looking forward to tackling this. Thanks again!

Great walk through - ty sir
splendid way around engineering Failure ! Thanks
Super helpful. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks! Nice job.
You are welcome... Hopefully it helps get you to the finish line.
What a nightmare design failure ! Who designed this ! We need a slip-on belt !

Might not be enough for your needs but when you set the park brake (push in the brake pedal) it loosens the belt.
Do you have the link to the belt?

Mine stopped because the clutch brake spring broke
