Wow they really increased the ai's dmg in the current horde. You took like 5-7 arrows in a row at one point. It takes like 2 to die now. Also you can't parry the big knights full swings in current version without getting staggered.
ok so im pretty god awful at this game for now, all i can do is farm headshots on longbow due to fps games and rust the one big issue i have with melee in this game is the mouse sens. I have it low enough to comfortably look around and face hits to parry/chamber, but my directional slashes are fucked. Am I supposed to just flick towards a direction or drag my mouse along the way like I'm tracking? Neither feels natural with the sens I use. Is binding directional attacks to different keys even a legit option?

feel like the heavy weapons should stagger a bit on hit. like the just bounce of shield like they are made of plastic. should still do some stagger even if blocked to encourage dodging or parrying instead me thinks ;) also are the voice actors the same as the ones form chivalry. i swear some of the line are just ripped straight form there but assume that wouldn't be allowed/
well there's a lot changed to the gamemode and i think right now, in high wave16-21 it's just impossible to win without camping because of ai's speed increase, you can't get away from their relentless attack...
I just have two complaints: 1. Unless you cut them out, it seems you only really get to see interesting enemies such as the fire flasks and large brutes until very late. 2. I'm kind of upset that it has an end. I was hoping it would be endless and you got more gold and XP depending on how far you made it.
even just the dishonoured timed block for a deathblow would be a great improvement from the usual 'press fire, press block, repeat until one of you dies' from the previous titles. then again, this would be difficult to translate into dragons, so it'd need some more work.
Looks to be neither. At 2:10 when he picks it up you can see it has a groove which is common for shovel type of tool. It doesn't look to be a traditional medieval shovel so my guess is that it is designed for a specific shovling activity. A hammer for example have many variants depending on what you are going to hammer. An oar or peel (pizza shovel/oven thingy) are both differently shaped for their tasks. I can't find the weapon on any lists on Mordhau websites so it seems to be a generic weapon for this game mode.

This looks set more involved and intense, than Hordes in Chivalry. They aren't as predictable as Chivalry, besides fantastic run.
