It isn't just Canada and other countries. Right here in Bible Belt USA, I don't know of a church within reasonable driving distance with a KJB on the pulpit. The pews in my church have NIV in the holder. Pastor usually uses Holman. New associate pastor brought in his ESV. Many of us old folk still cling to our KJB. Sadly some have been talked into the NJKV. Recently, during worship service, it was difficult to sit quietly after hearing "a son of the gods" was walking in the furnace.
I'm so often reminded of Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

@@henrylaurel4476 I rejoice because I have the opportunity to read and study the KJV. I've also studied the history of the 2 distinct lines of translations (KJV and various modern versions based on the works of Westcott & Hort Revised Standard Translation (RSV) from the 1880's.
In each case, KJV and RSV, they are based on DIFFERENT underlying manuscripts. Satan, has indeed been a work and is still at work. He, the devil, enjoys nothing more than to use this DIFFERENCE to turn groups of the faithful into the Hatfields and McCoys. "Cults" hurled across the battlefield.
I do have a number of "modern" versions in my bookcase. Have considerable reference material on the differences in the 2 lines of manuscripts - when, where, why, who. Plus even more at the touch of a keyboard.
Yet, the Bible that I have within arm's reach, as I type, is the KING JAMES VERSION. The one I read every day. The one that I take to church, even though many around me are reading an NIV from the pew or an XXXX they brought from home. God gave us the freedom to choose!
2 Tim 2:15 KJV - Please look up that verse to help set the premise.

Look up Acts 8:37 in both your modern version and the KJV.
Note the strong contrast as to which one actually declares the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

@@andrewlau8707 No, our pastor stopped using it and returned to the NIV for the most part. I've been pleasantly surprised at how often he also uses the KJV.

Brother McElroy are there any Churches in Jacksonville,Florida that still use the KJV ?I used to attend a big Southern Baptist Church here that did use It but when we got this new man he changed to NASB and hasn’t gone back .
