Put into practice the lifestyle you want to have.
We have traveled to Europe many times and always try to set aside time just to walk around the local community and markets to see how they live. Get off the beaten path!
Force yourself to stay at the dinner table an hour and a half and just talk.
Go to a good food market and buy something new to try. Buy cheese and fruit for desert. Check out books on traveling from the library.

I discovered La Dolce Vita when I found myself living on the Med in Spain. To smell that air, taste the fresh seafood, enjoy wine and music with the locals, to discover new places, and attempt to speak the language (Languages are not my forte, but I loved trying to do it!)...then to find out from my DNA I'm 44% from the Iberian Peninsula (Spain/Portugal)....no wonder I love it!! Everyone should do it!!

I worked hard all my life and now I am semi retired. I lived all my life stretched into the future. However, now the time has arrived to live 'La Dolce Vita'. We are of Italian origin as well so we have always enjoyed the famous and great 'Mediterranean Diet' and nothing beats it! I enjoyed your video ALUX. Thanks
whenever I travel to Italy, I remember their organic breakfast at the 5 star hotel we stay in, more especially the red orange juice.
All this talk about Italy makes me want to go back to Venice, it was such a beautiful place, I felt disconnected from the outside world for a week.

@@martinrosas64 It is like that in all of Italy. And this is valid on the workplace and while having to do with deliveries and stuff, services and so on.
So not only you can take your time, but definitely you have to take it. It can be frustrating especially to Americans, but overall, it has its goodness: it has to be understood and you have to taste food for thought that is other than the mindset you may be used to. Dolce Vita needs be accepted warts and all, and is a matter of love and cultivation.
I am obliged to live La Dolce Vita. Sono Italiano: quella descritta nel video è sempre stata e sarà la mia routine per le intere vacanze estive. Per condurre questo stile di vita, qui in Italia, non c'è bisogno di essere necessariamente benestanti.

I was just pointing out breakfast isn't really a thing in Italy, 95% or even more of the Italians just have a shot of espresso (some of them with a croissant-look-alike bread). And everyone knows the Italians don't drink their espresso sitting down in a cafe, they come to the cafe, order their shot, drink standing right next to the counter and run out

It seems many of us have missed how living la Dolce vita is all about or complicated matters, thereby missing out on its simplest form. It is critical to get back to the basics and find out the essence of one’s life for happiness and well-being.
What inspired me the most and what I do to make life a little sweeter every day is ENJOYING THE SUN. It is time to declutter and making room for indoor plants, home gardening, spending quality time with loved ones and friends who’ll add value to my growth and personal development, and finally, traveling, especially after almost 15 months in lockdown. Ah, la Dolce Vita. Thank you, ALUX!
