    I don't have knowledge of vastu shastra and shilp shastra but I definitely think that these scriptures can give us insights in modern city planning. I wish to read them in future.

    Jaipur was the first Planned City Of Modern India. There were many planned cities in Ancient and Medieval India. Such as Nalanda,Vikramshila,Keezhadi, Sompura etc most of them were built for a single purpose like Educations.
