Firefighting planes scooping from Lake Kachess WA

Firefighting planes flew low over Lake Kachess Campground and scooped water from the lake to battle a couple wildfires nearby that started the night before from lightning strikes. This was the afternoon of Aug. 10, 2024.
Group of 4 planes began flying water runs. After about an hour they were joined by two larger planes.
