Im impress with the NVH. As Mr Khong revs it up to 110kmh in 2nd, the engine noise is not loud. I gonna go back and watch how other similar segment perform.
So it got 110 at second gear.. Not bad for a 4AT The newest Xpander got CVT. I tried it in Jakarta last week. Weak acceleration, but better suspension. But i stick with 3 pedals sir
I owned sienta and driven my fren xpander. I feel dizzy while driving xpander on the trunk road and as a back passenger i dont feel great either. This is a tall car, cannot complaint much.
This model was introduced about 1 or 2 years ago where the price was a bit lower compared to its current price at almost 100k...Quite popular and it worth buying considering it's an mpv can ferry 7 people..Thinking of getting one...

Hi, the Cross is a C segment whilst the Xpander is not. The Cross is likely to be a better vehicle because it has more power and is overall higher quality, hence the price difference. The Xpander by itself is a great MPV and if you need the space, the Xpander delivers

Xpander and BR-V are similar vehicles, both 1.5 liter and 7 seater. The Exora is a bigger vehicle, and is 1.6 turbo. Exora is no more in production, so it is a choice between BR-V and Zpander. Depends on what you like better.
Hi uncle YS, I just got my new Xpander over a month ago.. I have one question, is it safe if driving up to 120kmh somehting and turn the O/D off? I was trying to pass over a car in front of me😅 it did indeed help me to boost the speed, but thinking 120kmh in gear 3 kinda worriying me..though i saw you hit 110kmh with only 2nd gear😂😅
It is perfectly ok. Turning off OD is like shifting to 3d gear since OD is equivalent to 4th gear. This kicks down the auto to 3rd gear and helps with the overtaking. Usually 3rd gear is good up to almost the top speed, but at a higher rev. Once you have done your overtaking, shift back to OD.

I had been driven my Exora CPS up to Genting, all the way first and second gear， suddenly lost power when reach the top , really scared me that moment, anyway after rest for a while, the power came back, now I dare not drive my Exora up to Genting anymore. Lol

For sure the Innova is a tougher vehicle and is much bigger. The Xpander would be more economical on fuel. Choose based on your priorities.

Full of passengers, it will be heavier and slower. Just drive slowly in lower gear.

The Xpander is FWD so there should be a more direct feel. Going uphill the Rush should feel better while the Xpander will feel better on the downhill.

It is only a 1.5 litre engine. Many cars need to go to second climbing that hill.

Anything 1.5 litre is underpowered, lol. It's a family MPV, and it does the job, plus is economical to run.
Take caldina gt4 if u want power & 7 seats.

As Uncle said 1.5 so called Mpv is underpower. Around same segment, only Exora 1.6Turbo effortless conquer Genting track.
