Why would the cop think Robin would know who beat up Jason. She didn’t even know he had been beaten, until he told her. And how did he think she could help them stop Sonny? The cops would know gangsters did not tell their women the details of their business. But he thinks a 19 year old kid is going to help them take down a powerful gangster. They were bluffing.
Alan and Sonny worked well together to take care of Jason, except for Alan’s cheap shot at Sonny. Too bad Alan couldn’t have done that all the time. He might have been able to build a relationship with his son. Instead, Jason avoided him whenever possible because he didn’t want to hear Alan go off on Sonny all the time. He never understood that it was not going to make Jason leave Sonny, it was just going to alienate him more.
