    A proper modern design on this one Chris that will keep you fit for sure! Expensive though! The carbon build results in great practicality, but you would expect better range. At least closer to their claim! A bigger battery should make a difference I guess.
    The security system and projecting light ,signals are a really nice touch here.
    A great E bike indeed! 👌👌Thank you for the detailed review as always✌✌

      Thansk for watching as always. Yes it's a good 1st gen product, I hope the next model will have a different seat post design, better range and a battery that doesn't pop up. Could be just my one as my prototype first model didn't do it!

    I got one and got stolen unfortunately
    thanks for the review but quick question
    Urtopia vs JOIEEM EBIKE-X ?
    which one would you vote for, I know it might be difficult
    Thanks a lot for your effort

    My main concern is with the structural integrity of the frame without a full length seat tube. This puts a lot of stress at the head tube and the rear axle where the seat stay and chain stays meet and those places don't look like they're reinforced. The weight of the rider bouncing up and down cycling the stress points will eventually weaken the carbon fiber.

    Looks good. The only things I would change are the rims (three spoke), and tires (slicks).

    @6:48 You sit on the bike with your toe on the ground so the seatpost is correct for you!

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it's perfect for me as I set this height for myself. I was refering to shorter riders as this seat post cannot drop right down. About 1 cm more lower that's it due to the frame design.

  • @jimmyhe2967

    good review! I'm 6' / 183 cm, what frame size shall I get?

    The thing I'm worried about with rear drive motors is when the rear tire gets punctured, it's going to be a pain patching it up

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      They are a bit of a pain, but I have an eBike from Italy coming up in the channel that has a bit of a solution to that with a belt tensioner that you can use to easily take of the drive belt and then remove the rear hub. The motors all unplug.

    • @rickruscin2942
      @rickruscin2942 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Techtablets my rear tire went flat. I took the bike to a bike shop so I wouldn't have to mess with that. They put a new tube in for $40. Money well spent.

    Price kills...😅 Battery popping up is not a nice thing, especially if it's a design flaw. Battery drain in idle it's OK if you leave the bike in a public space, to avoid theft, but when you're home, you should be able to turn everything off via app, if the bike is sitting in a safe place. At that price they should include all the accessories, come on!

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The odd thing is the prototype battery didn't pop up on me but this one does. Could be the battery latch but it seems fine. The only way to stop the drain if you're not using to for long periods is to remove the battery. Slightly annoying but an easy fix at least. I agree for the price you should the mudguards and kick stand.

      @@Techtablets i would definitely take out the battery 🔋 so that is less appealing for thieves.... Just wondering if the rain would be a problem ... Since it looks like it would be like a bucket 🪣 where they placed it ..

    • @Techtablets

      Well they have a good base to build on and improve it. Starting with the seat post.

  • @tomlindstrom7952
    @tomlindstrom7952 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Only a 2 year warranty...I would expect with no seat tube the vertical flex is going to cause some cracking. IDK why they went against conventional diamond shaped frame with a conventional seat tube which also allows full adjustment of the seat height. To make the frame stiff enough to accommodate no seat tube, they had to beef it up other places which only adds weight...seems really stupid to not have a seat tube that is continuous to the crank. I would wait a couple years to see if these things break on people before purchasing. No bike I ever purchased had such a short warranty on the frame.

      Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, but I love bikes from a high quality steel with lugs.

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The seat post can go up, but barely down and it will be an issue for some short riders. They will be forced to cut the seat post something you shouldn't have to do.

    THEY ALMOST NALED IT!!!!
    I wish we could have fingerprint reader, GPS, voice command and so on as OPTIONAL cause I don't really need those an could save some money as the bike is already super expensive.
    I wish for this price range it also had more power and torque all of ride1up and most class 3 ebikes have more power than this bike.
    Other than that everything else seems perfect
