This is really good thanks for this
I have just got photoshop 2024. I have sets of images that I name using the type tool. In the previous version I set it at 72 points and it stayed that for every image, Now it changes size for every image, and I have to resize it every time. Exhausting when doing as many a day as I am. This takes three times as long. Can I set it at 72 points and make it stay at that until I reset it?
Are you saying you have different Photoshop documents/images and in each you create a type layer to name it. And every time you go to a new image the font size resets back to default when you click to type? If so, what I would do is select the type layer and copy/paste it to the new image. Then just edit the text
It doesn't reset to default. It sets at anything between 14 points to over 200 points when I touch the image with the type tool. Of course the images are from different sources and are different resolutions. Then I have to change it to what I want. It's random. The copy & past is a good idea, but still time consuming when I just used to set it at 72 and it would stay that for every image. Thanks for taking the time to reply though, that is good of you.
