Your project and video resolutions and frame rates should ALWAYS match. Differences cause problems for plugins (f.ex offset, track mismatch etc.). Put your video in a compound clip if it's resolution or frame rate doesn't match that of the project.

Why are my x&y axis showing up in my final render? its like there is a hard line in the middle of my title.

Does it matter if you have same frame rate but you use 4K footage in a 1080 project ?
I have done that with 4k drone footage and it works fine.
