Felix Magath was a great manager. His record speak for itself. The squad around that time, 2013-2015 was full of entitled bums. Took some time to turn it around.

Magath is the less successful and glamorous German equivalent to José Mourinho.
Initially great, but his schtick gets old quick and there is a party everytime he gets the sack.
He was a bad appointment all around and he's been found out ever since.
Same tactics, same approach to torturing the players.
Rinse and repeat.

Ragging on Magath is a popular thhing to do, but never forget that the snowman's (Tony Khan) recruitment prior, during and after (to this day) hasn't really helped any of his managers.
Even Marco pretty much got lucky with a few of the players he actually got after having to beg for them.

A fair assessment. It was a bad squad. Consecutive relegations was a stark possibility. Kit did a good job, because it was a mess.

agree Magath is one of Germany's best ever footballers and did a top job as manager with Stuttgart, bayern munich and werder bremen, it's ridiculous blaming him for the incompetence of the Fulham board
