This “song” is my favorite in the series of Depressionism ambient guitar / instrumental music. And perhaps it is the shortest) Hope you will enjoy it.

I think it is as sad and thoughtful as it was meant to be for the conception of Depressionism. It is also as airy, spatial and atmospheric as it should sound in Ambient as far as I understand “ambient music”.

Martin Acoustic SP 013-056 (MSP4200PK3) - ordered on stringsandbeyond... they are really extreme for this guitar and sound best if you tune Multiac half or even one tone down (in D)... but I got used to this tension in E either)

+maxwellc13 well... I think this word talks for itself - there's a lot of music and art in general that might get into this concept... Everything that's depressive in this or that way. And yes, I know that when a person is in a depression everything is depressive for him, so it is a very subjective concept, but still this one describes this music the best for me
So,it's your own term-I was simply wondering if I'd missed some sort of cultural meme. But,depressionism...?
It seems quite cathartic,at least half the time; dream life and reflective,pensive,even. How about 'moody'?

+maxwellc13 "moody" sounds not very good for a Russian ear))) sometimes it happens that there's a similar word in another language and its meaning might be far from the original... don't ask me what it means)... And still I love "depressionism" term ( and I was not the first to use it)... There's something with impressionism and other art terms in it, I love that
