Jon, great performance and sound as always. I want Nik Huber now. I know the weight and price of this. What I want is a lightweight Dolphin Redwood chambered body, not a two. It was gorgeous, the neck fit perfectly, and the resonance was good for me. How much can I buy a few years old Dolphin Redwood in A condition in Singapore?
Nice guitar for sure. The key to the way it sounds is the Aluminum bridge. Any guitar with the same type of wood and construction will sound like that.
Yessir. As a young lad I learned the lesson of wait and save for the guitar or amp that you really want. If you get something else, you’ll just wind up buying the one you wanted anyway after a couple months of disappointment with the stand-in. Having wasted money and aggravation.
Nah. Some of the best players use inexpensive guitars. The price of an electric has little to do with the sound. The key in this guitar is the Aluminum bridge. There are great playing guitars under $500. PRS makes SE's with an Al bridge, or you can get an Al TOM bridge for any LP-style guitar.
I'm not a big PRS fan, but the SE Paul's guitar is just like this for ~$1k. They bake the FB wood on all thier guitars to stabilize it and reduce liquid damping.

It looks like a Framus.
Edit: I just looked at the prices of Nik Huber guitars... holy hell. They make a Les Paul Custom look cheap.

If you really want something, save for it.
Not everyone can afford instant gratification. 🤙
