PROMISES TO RENEW AND STRENGTHEN by David Wilkerson
I am convinced that right now the faith of the Body of Christ is under fierce satanic attack.
We know that Satan has always brought intense attacks against God’s people, causing awful suffering. For centuries, the blood of martyrs has been spilled. Godly saints like Job have been tried severely. But the onslaught against the faithful we see today is Satan’s last stand.
Just as wickedness abounds around the world today, so do the afflictions and trials of God’s Church. We’re seeing an unprecedented barrage of sickness, affliction, trouble after trouble, one problem after another-all of which make an overcoming life seem impossible to any believer.
Our faith and strength may grow weak, but in our times of weakness, God has given us marvelous promises to renew and strengthen us. Here are some of His promises that sustain me:
“God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect. . . . He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters; he delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me. . . . He is a buckler [protector] to all them that trust in him” (2 Samuel 22:33, 17-18, 31).
“Thou hast girded me with strength to battle” (2 Samuel 22:40).
“The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace” (Psalm 29:11).
“The God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God” (Psalm 68:35).
“Forsake me not when my strength faileth. . . . I will go in the strength of the Lord God” (Psalm 71:9, 16).
“Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee. . . . They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God” (Psalm 84:5, 7).
Do you believe your God is strong, as the Psalmist declares? If He is, no power can stand before Him. Commit everything into His mighty hand of strength and He will make a way. Most of all, believe His word: “In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul” (Psalm 138:3).
David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade.
In 1987, David Wilkerson returned to "the crossroads of the world" to establish Times Square Church. As a pastor of the church, he faithfully led this congregation, delivering powerful biblical messages that encourage righteous living and complete reliance on God.
David Wilkerson had a strong burden to encourage and strengthen pastors throughout the world. From 1999 to 2008, he traveled around the globe holding conferences for Christian ministers.

This man is a true man of God.
I pray God sends us strong preachers to help us through these difficult times. We need to turn to God alone. Help us abba father and renew our strength. In Jesus name 🙏

Jesus does hear us AND answers us, I too have felt the same way for a long time, but that’s when we need our FAITH that no matter WHAT He says “I will never leave you or forsake you”! He can NOT lie! You WILL have answers! The Lord is best to the broken-hearted.... that means US! Praying dear heart! Jesus DOES love you and wants what is best for YOU! Hopefully you have a Bible believing church you go to? Very important we do not “forsake the gathering of the saints” ESPECIALLY as you see the end approaching. We need to support each other and worship together. Since I haven’t been, I don’t feel as close to the Lord, and the spiritual attacks are feeling almost unbearable

I Love how he explaines the bible and talks about how you can lose your strength how dangerous place to be. We must daily be strengthened by Holy Spirit. And get back your strength by waiting on the Lord. Eph 6:10 finally be strong in the Lord.

june 2023 Thank you Holy Spirit for allowing me to listen to this brother since I was filled with God's Spirit in September the 7th , 1989 . Definitely a man greatly used by God may he be completely overwhelmed in Heaven by the things God has prepared for him .

Listening Sept 2020, all believers need to remember that what God allows, he has a purpose.
Many people don't understand that someone can be used by God with an anointing under a grace period given by God to repent, yet still not produce much fruit of the Spirit. And if that man doesn't repent, he will die in his sins.

At 72 years I find that I am so exhausted after selling at a Saturday Flea Market, that I can’t always make it to church on Sunday. I expected this sermon to be on Spiritual exhaustion. It is Heaven sent.

This hits home , the five wise and foolish virgins comes to mind , the wise wait on the Lord and the foolish spend it up and look to get quick refreshing by wanting someone to lay hands on them . I believe the laying on the hands is biblical but we believe miracles come from another , miracles come through the Holy Ghost to Glorify Jesus Christ and there are false signs and wonders .
I needed this so much, please pray for me I've felt like Jesus don't want me I know better it's feelings, I'm disabled alone alot, but most importantly I've not been praying it reading the word ,and here I am ,yep I know, I love Jesus my Lord 🙏 he's been so good to me , I need to feel him close to me , bless you everyone .

Gigi GG...Have you ever listened to Pastor John MacArthur? (Grace to You) He is in the news now because of his stand to be able to worship God on Sundays “inside” their church. The church is in Los Angeles, California. I have been saved for 41 years & @ least 35 of those years I have been mentored by Pastor MacArthur.
Rabbi Greg Hershberg is one of the only sound teachers I know of today. Beautiful hearted man on fire for God

I need prayers. I get angry and some terrible things come out of my mouth. I know I've been saved. I just don't understand why I have these anger issues? I also don't understand why I say the things I do when I'm so mad. I lose self control and I want to hit something or sling stuff. I constantly listen to sermons and mostly David Wilkerson sermons. It's very sad that my actions are this ugly when I get mad. Thanks for your prayers and much love to you all!!!!
