In my experience for drop B a 25,5“ guitar with a 12-60 string set is the way to go. Try a 14-68 in drop G on the 27“ Scale guitar for the stupid broriffs

I just purchased my first baritone guitar as well. It's the ESP Ltd SCT 607B Stephen Carpenter 27" 7 string baritone. I've had it just under a week and I can't seem to put it down. It has the green sparkle finish and Sheph's signature Fishman Fluence Modern pickups, and it is gorgeous and has an absolutely punishing tone!
I was waiting to give my thumbs up and Subscription-til I heard “all that being said-this guitar feels like sh*t!” I was literally dying- I’m really starting to enjoy your content. So ty, Mr. Bull. 🤘🏻
That things a straight up hog of a guitar. Whats the weight? 10lbs. is my absolute limit. I've got 1 guitar right at 10lbs even, with EMGs. Even my bass is under 9lbs. For what they cost, its really hard to beat Ballaguer's build quality and specs. The whole Ballaguer vibe is geared towards modern genre players, wanting cutting edge designs and specs, without looking like everyone else. Next to ESP/LTD or Schecter, which is basically the same, they're one of the only other brands getting traction in the custom style guitar market. B.C. Rich, Dean and the like, just aren't anywhere near as popular as they once were. Somebody needs to fill that void in the market. Charvel,Jackson and Ibanez, just keep re-releasing the same oldschool models over and over. Solar is the only other brand I can even think of? This week I'm putting the Gotoh keystone tuners I ordered on my new Epiphone Les Paul custom silverburst, AJ sig. Its 9lbs.6ozs. and has the thinest, fastest feeling neck carve EVER, on a LP style guitar. You gotta get your hands on one of these chief, they kick much weak people music, ass! Peace!

It’s literally the level of wholesome that I felt reading some of Joe’s posts on the page, and the exact reason why I want a Balaguer to support them. I haven’t yet as every time I get to a point where I can spend on myself, something draws my attention or something in life prevents it. One day I will 😅.
