So, on a few acres on the edge of the farm stands poles 18 feet high to help the hop plants grow to the sky before filling out with the oily cones that craft breweries are craving in the push to build a large craft beer industry. Why pelletize the hops? Is it for smaller storage area or is it necessary for the brewing process? It seems like an extra step that would damage the oils and teepees. I really have no idea, I'm coming from the cannabis industry and if you squish bud into a block you lower the quality and damage the oils and teepees
