Love the vase with the magnolia stems! Today we are having the most glorious sunny day! Seasonal depression is a real thing. I take extra vitamin D during the winter. Great to see you!
Yes! I love a slow Sunday with snacks and a movie but being out in the sunshine just makes me so happy! With all of the rain and gloomy days CA has been having I appreciate the sunny days SO much 😍🌤️
Instead of filling an entire vase with water, what I usually do is find a glass or smaller vase that would fit into the larger and fill that with water. It makes it very easy to change out the water and arrange the florals.
I like to cut plastic soda bottles down to just below the rim of a pottery vase. Not only does it help to hold your stems up it's much easier to lift out and change the water. Also you don't need to worry if your vase might be porous.
Love the magnolias. I live with 1000s of (Aussie) spiders and ants in the yard so I wouldn’t bring anything inside unless it was spotless and even then too many live inside. I found I love light coloured faux greenery on Pinterest so I made sure I got some. They’re calming in summer. Ferns make me feel cool all year round so I use them too. 😊
Nice! 70s is dreamy! 😍 We’re still 60’s in CA with spotty rain. Thankful were not buried in snow like some of Northern/ East CA 😩 Such crazy weather for California
I used to forage wildflowers that grow wild alongside country roads near my home. Last and final time I did that, my house became filled with tiny little BUGS. Faux is fine for me now.
Can you share how you stay so slim and what you eat in a day. Love your esthetic at home and your clothing, so pretty. I use a tiny bit of Hydrogen Peroxide in to keep the water clean and trim the ends on an angle too each water change. Thanks so much for the inspiration.
You’re so sweet! Thank you! I try to stick to higher protein diet. Lots of eggs, cheese, bacon, oatmeal, turkey (sandwiches) Chomps Beef sticks. Peanut butter & jelly 😁 and a lot of fruit. I used to workout about 3-4 times a week but have slowed down in the winter. I’m hoping to start working up to that again. I try to limit the sugar but I have the biggest sweet tooth 😆 I can try and do a video in the next few weeks and share a bit more! 💕
Ohhh no not pepper trees.. We HAD 4 of them in our backyard and every summer my girls would come running into the house in the middle of swimming with bees everywhere.. Nope.. Those are gone now. Couldn't stand tgem. Sorry valerie
Had those in Vegas when lived there and they were so messy I hated them and was always having to cut them because they grow so fast and the bark is ugly. Didn't care for the way they smelled but to each his own.
@@nancybarendt7877 EXACTLY!!! The bark looked like it was a really old tree but when we cut them down they may have been 10 years.. Not that old at all but very ugly.. I just coukdnt see keeping them since my girls would refuse to go swimming because of all the bees.
Gorgeous flowers

Love the magnolia arrangement, and the vase with pepper tree branches also. The pepper tree is new to me!
Very cool trees, the bees love them!
Love natural flowers and branches! I love foraging! Transitioning away from faux.
❤ love the brown vessel and the green foliage. Beautiful mix.
Isn't it so pretty! I love it too!

Thank you for the helpful tip! I have a huge vase I could totally use that trick for!
I totally will clip branches and flowers from the side of the road. (not from a private residence) I keep clippers in my car.
That' s a great idea! Totally need to keep a pair in my car!
❤❤❤❤❤❤

Oh no! I wouldn’t bring them in either!😩 I love the ferns too! The faux stems would look so pretty indoors!
In the 70s, in central Illinois, but very windy. But very mild!

Hey Valerie ☺️
Love the greens in the brown vessel you did! Spring is my least favorite season so I keep everything pretty muted & moody year round
Me too! The brown vase has easily become a new favorite!

LOL Yes!!! I remember the bees and the buzzing in the Spring/Summer! They must love the pepper trees! 😁🐝
They do.. Lol
