I think I recall seeing those steering wheels in a mid 90s Mini World mags. Probably a rare U.K. wheel. Reminds me how we found our 62 back in 1995 in a North San Diego county barn. It was raced I believe at a local track. Had similar 60s race style like this one. 6 extra smith gauges on custom vinyl foamed dash. Raid co. Race steering wheel.
Hey everybody. I've owned a Mini for 20 years, yet it's been parked for the last 10. Ever since I learnt more about the crash safety issues. Like the engine crushing knees in from collisions. My plan is to install a roll cage, however I need your help regarding front collision safety.
@@michaelfraser5723 Just trying to help the guys at Jet Motors. Sorry you couldn't see the play on words like Racing Staples, Horse Power. I purchased a 1997 Mark Seven MPI Mini Cooper from Jeremy with all the upgrades including the John Cooper Conversion for the engine and exhaust, new wheels, tyres, etc. Only trying to help the guys, just a play on words. Sorry you couldn't see it.
I said that at the auto show in 2016. Jeremy sat me in a late 90s Cooper and said I wasn't even close to his record height customer. I'm 6'5"/275# and with seat brackets and a different steering wheel I fit great. Seeing the light turn green is tricky sometimes.
