Mosquitoes really are a thing in Finland. It's the worst up north. Mosquitoes lay their eggs in still water, and there is a lot of that around when all the snow melts after a long winter. All the mosquitoes have a short time window during which they must feed and reproduce, so they are constantly in your face. And it's not just mosquitoes, there are all kinds of nasty insects during summer. Luckily sauna helps a lot with all the bug bites.
Doesn't happen in big cities though, I think I've only seen a mosquito once per year in Helsinki.
This happens in some rural areas, too.. Hopefully, the legislators will look into this mosquito incident
It is funny when country is happy and people here complain often. We are pleased, country is secure.
I believe security is paramount, and other things follow afterwards😊
Just dont believe these YT videos only, do your own investigations, we are not that happy, maybe in countryside, where I can leave my door unlocked when I am home. Known people knock and come in, asking are you home, but not enter from hallway before they get ansver. So are we true for happier nation of world? Partly maybe but not in all. Think about it, we cant protect our houses from intruders, with any force by law. But for me, police is 30 minutes to one hour away, so I call it like, (saunan takana on vielä tilaa), it may be something like, there is still some free space behind my barn. Got it?

It's all about the safety and trust between the people of Finland. We don't have to be suspicious and to always have to think about safaty and how to protect yourself.
We can concentrate all of our efforts on our Country and its safety, like in our military 👍

We are not necessarily happy . Some people are rich, but some people are terribly poor and left alone . If you get sick, nobody cares. Not even your relatives .

Forget the word "happy". Not a very good video. Do not explain much abiut all the things mentioned and many "facts" wrong. But I can tell you couple things as facts, Finland is not a perfect country cause there is none but after living 25 years outside/abroad Finland I can tell you that it is a great country with great people. People whining and complaining have never lived anywhere else to experience those massive problems almost everywhere. When you are used to a good life and something happens that is not so good you start complaining cause you do not better. And once and for all, the tax % is total bull!! But that is not so important cause the whole world has gone crazy and people are still complaining about little things and they always will. Everything is relative. You need to have a bigger picture and knowledge about the world and you will soon realize that Finland is a great place to live. And there are other great places to live also😊😅❤
