I like the change from Petrify to Cataclysm. I am going to try that. I still don't have a good Adaptability glyph and that is definitely holding me back, but still doing great with this build while leveling up.
Great video, I like the Stormclaw Build : more survivability, less DPS than new Lightning Storm meta build but I prefer not being one shoted (and I play with a Barb friend one shoting everything so... pulling the mob is a good support job :p) However I don't understand why using the Electrocution Rare Glyph, it mentions "Lightning Bolts" and "Dancing Bolts" in bold font so it's key words, and I don't see what explicitly generates these kind of effects in the build. In my knowledge, only the Lightning Dancer's Aspect, the Runeworker's Conduit Aspect and the Charged Atmosphere passive generate these kind of effects. Maybe I'm missing something, maybe it's implicit in some skills or may be a wrong translation in my first language (french) but imo, the bold font key words are here for a reason. I end up using the Exploit glyph instead because of the doubt ^^
I've been farming vaults and exchanging the seneschal broken parts for obals to roll for rings, and I cannot get aspect of adaptability. I'm also stuck on the 40% one
I am trying Werewolf glyph instead of electrocution. Anyone try that? Trading that secondary from electrocution for more damage reduction, not sure how much damage (if any) I am losing though. Too bad the training dummy is pretty much useless to test this stuff out.
Wanted to play thunderstorm druid this season, but the game won't drop tempest roar, tibaults will and/or the unsung ascetic wraps for me. Even without those uniques the mob melting damage is enormous, but it's got really bad spirit issues in single target fights. However I got the crone staff and the malignant ring, so maybe I'm gonna switch to this build. Looks more promising with what I have now. Bummer I don't alreay have flickerstep. Gotta find another way to shorten cooldown on the ultimate.
@@mattkuhart8694 Yeah, I heard that. But ad I said, the single boss target damage of mine is not that good, plus ressource problems, if I can't spread the attacks at mobs. I already tried the beast in ice and that was a desaster. If I'm gonna try to kill Duriel, you bet I'll try to make it a sure thing. Not gonna waste mats anymore.
lets see a NM 90-100. I think my storm claw is hitting consistently higher than this using exploit, close to dmg, dmg to poison glyphs at level 15. Amulet has %30 damage at max resource which is always up, and tibaults procing often. I dont use the gloves but looking for a better rolled one to try out, so this is all without paingorgers. Stacking lucky hit and using the x fall unique ring to proc the 40k damage, ends up hitting for 1mill+ then using poison creeper instead of blood howl to constantly have insane crit chance to everything, and using the spirit boon for a 20% chance to reset cooldown to companion skills, its almost always up after a few strikes. Its constantly procced, poisoning the area, and then you can constantly heal from the healing boon with crits. I agree with the key choice though. Gotta let it sit for a few seconds to get the 30% increased damage in werebear form. The beauty of this build is you can just swap to the werebear key for more HP and damage in a high dungeon. I switch a few boons and skills depending what I am doing. I have all uniques except Ammy (damage + resource), gloves (attack speed) and chest piece (armor with +evade which the CD comes right back down with flicker step) both unique rings + tempest + tibault + flicker step. Only switch out tibaults with good DR legs at NM95+
Cant ger crone staff to drop. Killed varshan like 10 or 12 times and got many rings, chests, helmets, but no staff. On last league i got much much more frequent. Im almost changing dor another character
nice build... but too much work even if u get maxroll i dont see this being easier than lightnign storm druid in 90+ nightmare. but a fun build indeed probably for leveling up from 80s to 100 ish.
All Druid builds are underwhelming right now. Gauntlets will shine a pretty bright light on that so I wish they'd hurry up and get released. Apparently Druid players need to see the hard math to admit the class is not in a good spot. Even the so called "good" WW LS build is not very good in comparison to the meta builds of the other classes. The devs gutted the class over 2 aspects being OP in s1 and s2 and left us with little else to work with. The only thing they got right was fixing Bulwark imo. In no way, shape, or form did a defensive ability being the hardest hitting ability in the game make sense. They took the Blurred Beast nerf too far though. It was as powerful as it was because of the double dip and added damage of ToB glyph. They could've left it exactly as it was and it would still be middle of the pack damage with all the other OP builds.
The title doesn’t say anything about being the best build. All these builds means is you can destroy the game with ANY build. No need to be negative kid.
th-cam.com/video/P5dY2KCQvC8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=cnpM9z_xyR0WmIXQ I smash Tier 100nmd on eternal realm, while drunk and not pet to buff me. Stormclaw is absolutely viable in tier 100
The gauntlets were a fun idea, but stormclaw simply doesn't do enough damage.
Does now

It boosts Cataclysm and the Bad Omen passive a lot. 100% worth it.
Bro everyone of his builds are followed up with legit gameplay
He is incredible

Any updates or changes to this?
Bro thank you so much love it so far

I think I need the electrocution glyph. Going to try to replace earth and sky so I have electrocution and werewolf.
thos bouild very god work with Haelequin and mad wolf glee. Paragon have few small mistakes.
😮 nuff said. Thank you thank you

You can easily get Tempest Roar. Just beat Durial a few times and it drops. Can’t use that excuse anymore lol

The spirit issue is why I'm making the switch to this also.
Absolutely great video … (don’t say it don’t say it don’t say it) it’s pronounced “rath” not “raith”
Why no mad wolf glee?
He’s going for 3 defensive aspects: Juggernaut’s, Might, and Vigorous. Good idea for NMD 85+.
@@gcubittYou don't need 3 defensive aspects. I do t100s all day long with 1...

Lvl 100 stormclaw here and I cannot get my paingorgers to drop from beast in the ice 😭😭
try boulder tier 100 no problem

Im almost changing dor another character
I burned 50 Varshan runs and got it back to back on the last 2 runs 😭 but them dang ol penitent greaves and butchers cleavers are every other drop
I couldn't get it to drop from Varshan after 20 runs but I got it to drop from Zir twice in three runs.
Just do NMV 80+ for a high level staff.

Every other d4 build video is the NEXT BEST THING. It’s getting old fast. To the point where I hit don’t recommend anymore.

the same "ultimate" build every season, hahaha
bad for nmd100

I tried posting my paragon set up, but I guess the OP keeps deleting my comment. Oh, well
I dont run this guys build but I found a way to make it work in NMD100 using mostly uniques
