As a Parisian, lemme give advices :
1. Go to the numerous tea rooms (exemples : Toraya, Mariage Frères, and those of the hotels like the Bristol, the Crillon or the Royal Monceau)
2. Go to restaurants (exemples : the Peninsula, the Fouquet's or to the restaurant of Guy Savoy)
3. Try to see if you can see an old french movie on TV (with english subtitles on, obviously), cause even if french cinema nowadays is trash, old cinema is really good. My propositions : Les Tontons Flingueurs, Le Grand Blond, Les Visiteurs, Les Bronzés font du Ski, or basically any movie from Louis de Funès
4. DON'T GO TO THE LOUVRE ! I know it's a popular place to go to for tourists, and you see, IT IS EXACTLY THE PROBLEM ! The Joconde (or the Mona Lisa if you name it by the character Da Vinci painted) is overrated af ! And the Louvre itself is overrated af ! + there are actually 2 things in the Louvre Palace : the world-known museum and the Louvre of the antiques dealers and other Zinc Lablanc-like people, and you can be SURE that Maya would buy around 43944394589082340959849853984985493850980943890483905899854950'930989505483905890958948538405989058904 things from there !
5. Basically prioritize place where Parisians go instead of where tourists go. Simple as that.
6. Don't talk about politics. Just don't. its not the US where there are one left wing party and one right wing party, instead there are like 4-5 left wing parties, 3 left-center wing parties, 1-2 right-center parties and 1-2 right wing parties (or fascist parties as the left-wing likes to call them), so don't try, you'll just get in an useless argument, and everything can be, and will be, used against you ! (seriously, I think that Phoenix would rather face MVK again than getting into a political argument with french people, and I'm saying this seriously)

Oh wow, that's a lot! Thanks for the advice! I've been to Paris once before, so I'm kinda just basing it around that. And yes, I agree with you on the Lourve. Looks boring as hell. I am planning to make them go to a French café, and I can assure you that there won't be any politics. Thank you so much for the help!
