He saw a world full of strife and conflict, hopelessness and despair, signified by the disorderly mess of notes at the start of his theme. As G would step in to try and send a presidential message of hope and goodwill, some classical brass instruments kick in, signifying his message being delivered. It is then that the world hears and resonates with him, causing the symbolic mingling of both the modern synths and the classical brass. It shows that messages, sayings, and even solutions that are centuries old, even more so, they can still survive or even thrive in today's world.
You forgot to mention the different meanings of his name G can mean gold, geokinesis(the term to refer earth manipulation) and Gaia, the mother earth. Fun fact: the pointing with the finger gesture also means G in the sign language. You have to give more credit to capcom for that lol

I disagree with the part about G’s music. I honestly think G’s theme give us the biggest hint on what type of character he really is behind the theatrics and boasting. The subtlety of the beginning of the song, which leads into a explosion of the horns as the hook, gives me the sensation of a creeping presence who’s just waiting for the right moment to reveal itself. Just as G slowly wins over the people of the world in his own weird fashion for his unknown grand schemes, the song does the same.

As you say, Street Fighter is already filled with "strong", bombastic themes. G plays by his own rules at his own pace, as does his music. Despite the political message, G isn't a real president or a bureaucrat. An overblown Sousa theme would pigeonhole him as a political wannabe, when he's something else (whether that something else is benign or evil.) On a more practical concern, G has a lot of voiced lines, which he delivers with a projecting, but still "speaking", voice. A more overblown theme would compete with his voice. G's theme not only doesn't drown out his voice, it blends well the with flow of his dialogue.

It has a mysterious vibe, and the almost robotic sound of it could also relate to Q And though I think this is coincidental, and I may be reaching a little, but it reminds me a fair bit of Jean Michael Jarre's music, specifically Oxygene (Especially with the wind sounds in there), which if you know the album cover, the earth peeling open to reveal a skull, definitely gives me the feeling that G is up to no good

I think G's fantastical panache is juxtaposed well with his very subdued but still energizing music. When this dancing political showman is out there vying for your undivided attention, the music is there entirely to emphasize his presence. Heck, the dude probably travels around with an orchestra to play music on-site.
One of my favourite touches on G is his idle stance. It's just like one of those old timey boxing stances, which just compliments his character design.

I like to think that Q is G’s version of a Man in Black, the trilby and trench coat giving off that “civil but still mysterious” vibe, and the metal mask potentially meaning that Q is a robot/cyborg, and the man in Black analogy could explain why Q can be in so many different places at once, as shown in his story. And the men in black of reality usually appear before, when, or after something normally illogical happens, silencing any potential witnesses.

He's the personification of Ryu's struggle with the Satsui no Hado, and his Character Story takes place in-between "A Shadow Falls" during Ryu's "Special Training". Kage Naru Mono = Kuruoshiki Oni, both are demons from the Japanese mythologies that are being suppressed by Ryu and Akuma respectively. This is also why their height and weight are stated to be unknown - they're incorporeal. As we know, SF universe consists of not only the physical realm, but also the spiritual plane which was shown in the SFV: Arcade Edition opening (everything happened in Ryu's mind) and in Sagat's mini story. It's also the realm where Necalli tried to absorb Nash at the start of the cinematic story.

I dunno, I really like G's theme and I think it fits him. It really adds to the mystery of who the hell he is and what his origins are. His theme shows that there is some weird mystery behind the chatacter, to the point of being something supernatural.
I always figured G's theme was supposed to continue the mystery of the character. We don't actually know anything about his purpose and motive, and that seems like what that theme is still trying to convey, with the light brass somewhat tying back to themes of presidency.
i think his theme is pretty swaggy, got that 50s swing style to it. and im all for G is Q. i think that would give his character a lil more depth. Hes Q when he wants to be out and about, with the people, protecting the people.

In the ending of Q he's seen in different parts of the world for some reason. I think Q is supposed to be the ruler of the divided version of Earth, as all world's disputes are actually the plans of Q while G is supposed to be the ruler of people working together.

I love G's theme, I think it expresses his mystery and how charismatic he is. That's just my taste/opinion but its a great video, I have been waiting for you to cover G.

I like to think that Q is G’s version of a Man in Black, the trilby and trench coat giving off that “civil but still mysterious” vibe, and the metal mask potentially meaning that Q is a robot/cyborg, and the man in Black analogy could explain why Q can be in so many different places at once, as shown in his story. And the men in black of reality usually appear before, when, or after something normally illogical happens, silencing any potential witnesses.
I just now got it!! Canonically, SFV comes before SF3. During which time, there is also the fall of Neo-Shadaloo. Or, at least, their disappearance. What if also durong that time, The Illuminati does something to G, extracts his magma powers and leaves him sort of broken. Thus why Q wears the madk and his moves are a lot rougher. Also.... together, they make the pun of "GQ" (which is the mens fashion magazine, Gentlemen's Quarterly), which is also used to comment on how nice a man's suit looks.
Ever hear of Q-ANON in real life? Q is the 17th letter of the alphabet & is said to be the highest level of security that only the 'president' has access to. G is a common 'character' in freemasonry.... some real illuminati shit being dumped in SF5!
I would go as far as saying that Q is a failed experiment of super soldier based on G. Also, you can write a G as an incompleted-circle of a Q.
To me, it is obvious that G and what he expresses on the outside are only the surface of the much deeper chasm he really is.

I do sometimes wish they used some form of that "President of the world" song for G. an instrumental with the chorus or something. but with you play G's current theme with the correct sound system, it does have a great mood and story to it
I think his theme song fits actually it has a certain swagger and chill meaning yea you can trust him in a way. It makes it memerable in a way compared to the others high octane music.

@SugarPunch Design Works: When making the Kage episode, please keep in mind he's not the physical manifestation of Ryu's Satsui no Hado, that's just what the Capcom Unity blog says, however in Japan Kage is considered nothing more than a shadow (that's literally what his name means). He's the personification of Ryu's struggle with the Satsui no Hado, and his Character Story takes place in-between "A Shadow Falls" during Ryu's "Special Training". Kage Naru Mono = Kuruoshiki Oni, both are demons from the Japanese mythologies that are being suppressed by Ryu and Akuma respectively. This is also why their height and weight are stated to be unknown - they're incorporeal. As we know, SF universe consists of not only the physical realm, but also the spiritual plane which was shown in the SFV: Arcade Edition opening (everything happened in Ryu's mind) and in Sagat's mini story. It's also the realm where Necalli tried to absorb Nash at the start of the cinematic story.

I haven't been one to disagree with you before, but I will when it comes to G's theme. It's amazing and fits him very well. It honestly made me like the character more than I already did.
I feel like G’s theme is meant to be a companion piece to his design, like it’s hinting that something is *up* with G which makes sense given his mysterious nature and origins.
no matter how much I love waifus and Menat in particular, G is by far the strongest addition to the street fighter universe since Juri. A bonkers self proclaimed president of the world is endlessly entertaining and fits perfectly with the iconic street fighter 2 cast.

I like his music, it lets him speak for himself and makes me feel very superior and intimidating as a player.
Prediction: Q is a project from a revived S.I.N. under Seth similar to the Eleven and Twelve projects, but more mechanical. The Q drone or drones copy G's moveset.

I dunno, I really like G's theme and I think it fits him. It really adds to the mystery of who the hell he is and what his origins are. His theme shows that there is some weird mystery behind the chatacter, to the point of being something supernatural.

I always figured G's theme was supposed to continue the mystery of the character. We don't actually know anything about his purpose and motive, and that seems like what that theme is still trying to convey, with the light brass somewhat tying back to themes of presidency.
i think his theme is pretty swaggy, got that 50s swing style to it. and im all for G is Q. i think that would give his character a lil more depth. Hes Q when he wants to be out and about, with the people, protecting the people.

G is pretty much the bes t SF character (as at least desing wise) imo. His charisma is higher out does any other character before him and he has actually swagger
on G's theme, the pace of the song i think suits both his pacing as a character in battle and game, as well has how he's animated. real game feely kinda song.

I feel like theme songs for street fighter v is about the character's mentality and personality. Because he seems to be hiding something, G's theme song is supposed to be like the subtlety of G's secret compared to his Moveset, design and (possibly facade) personality.
dude he's got the best theme in the game. perfectly groovy/suave and in my head canon G was captured by the illuminati to prevent competition to their coming world power attempt and used him as their first experiment in a program that over the years would eventually create Necro and 12. The experiment was deemed a failure and the only thing that remained was an abomination husk of G, who then became known as Q, fighting with broken moves from the remains of G's destroyed psyche

I think Q is supposed to be the ruler of the divided version of Earth, as all world's
disputes are actually the plans of Q while G is supposed to be the ruler of people working together.
