- The absolute best drive in Europe - the Llogara Pass in Albania! You need to come here and drive on this incredible road, it is pure joy. Heading from near sea level up over 1,000 metres this was the most fun we have had so far driving in the Balkans!
In this video we are heading north through Albania, from the beach we camped in our last video near Borsh (not the soup) to the beautiful Lake Shkodra.
To be honest, neither of us can believe Albania isn't more popular, this country seems to be made to be one of the best & most popular destinations in Europe.

It is funny that we always hear about the beauty of Switzerland, but never about the beauty of Albania.
Communism is one of the reasons. Albania would had been in Europe for over 70 years if it wasn't for Hoxha. You would be saying Switzerland who?
Such an underrated country it has everything!
Hoxha diet 40 years ago so where is Albania now?
@@Ash-ov5lx it's the system implemented that is still in people's mind. Albanians are so dependent in the State even today. Albania needs 1 century to get rid of Hoxha's damage or maybe even more and Berisha that came in 1991 didn't start the right way as he was a Communist himself. Getting rid of Communism symptoms ain't easy. 40 years its nothing especially when people still running Albania were from that same system.
@@Ash-ov5lx its not that easy to rebuild a nation when a dictator drained all of your resources for 50years and spended all the money in bunkers and prisons.
The Llogara Pass was amazing but, really, the shots of wiping bird shit off your tent will always be fond memories of Albania.

Albania has so many windy roads overlooking beautiful landscapes! Shkodra to Theth, countryside roads around Gramsh and Berat,... so many scenic drives. I hope you guys enjoy your time here :)
They are now probably in England. England vs Ukraine was played on 4 July.

Rode it twice on a motorcycle but i came from Vlore to Sarande, brilliant road.
Ah on a bike it must be an absolute dream! There were so many groups of bikers heading both ways, can definitely get why!

How can the car park be so expensive in Albania lol one Euro ? In Albania don't use Euro they use Lek, I'm in UK and you know what i mean about car parking the price lol
