Leo's set against Light is one of best "Game 4 Leo" moments I've ever seen. It straight-up looked like a switch flipped at the end of that 3rd game, like he had some kind of slow-mo anime flashback sequence and powered up.
16:07 This confirms Leo either has plot armor, or Chokemos side b just goes a different range to make sure he loses.
It amazes me that Cosmos actually SDs with that. Online players do the side b like that all the time, and I’m just like “please die” thinking back to Cosmos. But they never do. Literally only Cosmos

Muteace has shown that Peach is still here and people need to be worried lol. He's definitely cemented himself as a top contender with this run. If he strengthens his matchup knowledge and a few reactions he's going to be an absolute beast.

Like he was tweeting when he woke up on the last day of G9 that he was “so thankful his hands felt okay,” and that he “was scared [he] was going to wake up with broken hands”

I agree that this is some of the best smash we've seen thus far(Mute Ace 🤯😱). When this top-eight was happening live, I was scanning TH-cam like a lost puppy dog in a thunderstorm, but your little icon was a dormant blue. Glad you got around to commentating it. Always love hearing your thought process and insight on the matches. This channel is by far the best place to see a hype major - across all platforms, and it's not even close.

That 4th game Leo joker vs light was actually some of the best gameplay I think I've ever seen in the competitive scene. Granted it's fox offstage vs joker but regardless those two stocks were a masterclass on why joker is still considered one of the best characters in the game.
This tournament was fucking godlike especially from Muteace. Man made us believe, he made us REALLY BELIEVE.
Nice reaction! Only thing that's missing here is that 0-50ish combo Leo did on Muteace's last stock (Grand Finals set 1 Game 4). That shit was so cool.

He probably shouldn't even have made it to Leo. Sparg0 completely sold their set first by switching to Cloud. I mean, what is the point of having a secondary if you're going to play your Cloud vs Sonic?
@@randumo24 He switched to Cloud because his Aegis lost and he practices a lot with Sonix with his characters so he obviously knows what works (Game 3 was pretty close too).
@@randumo24 Sonix destroyed the Spargo's Aegis. That's why he switched to Cloud
@@Dark-xy6vu Losing a game with Aegis doesn't mean it was the wrong choice. Just like we saw with Leo. Cloud is an awful choice against Sonic, and Sonix in particular.
He definitely could have won with Aegis. It was proven well that switching to Cloud was a terrible choice.
@@Dark-xy6vu That was also just 1 game fyi, which Sparg0 had just beat Sonix with Aegis just a couple of weeks ago in a set. There's nothing you can say that doesn't make it a bad switch.
The final game is exactly why you don't play Cloud against Sonic. You might get one lucky game where edgeguarding doesn't play a big factor, but over the course of a set Cloud's horrible matchup off-stage loses him far too many easy stocks.

Muteace just needs to work on his nerves and he can be a regular 1st to 3rd placer. What makes Leo so powerful is his mentality, when he's down he literally gets stronger as he gets excited vs nervous. Basically Leo heats up when down and others freeze to death.
At this point I feel he is addicted to adrenaline so once his system start pumping the adrenaline his withdrawal symptoms stop and he start playing for real.

Everyone has gotten so much better since Leo played his Joker last time. He legit needs the Joker now, it's a good timeline.
