I think it is next level stupid (and rather cruel) that this family has been pressured to not remove one blemish from their family images. Editing & adjusting has been a normal part of photography (journalistic photography, portrait photography, fine art photography) since it’s invention! And we certainly use it daily in social media and snaps sent to our friends & family out in the world. I for one, do not ask any different of the Royal Family. They deserve dignity too! And throughout history, has there not been artistic license by portrait artists? The answer is YES 💐📷🎨🖌

We must remember that Prince William (the real amateur) took the Mother's Day photo. Princess Catherine attempted to clean it up just a bit, with photoshopping not being her regular practice. It was NEVER the big deal that the rabid media so desperately tried to make it out to be. Nonetheless, this birthday photo of Prince Louis by his beautiful and talented mother, Catherine, Princess of Wales, is spectacular indeed.

I agree the photo is not a current one but I don't think it was from 4 years-old time. He's missing one or both front lower teeth. This was late last summer/early fall I think because I remember seeing the toothless smile from before Christmas. Even those that believe the Mother's Day photo was current, NOT, he was missing teeth in it also. Teeth don't take 6 months or even 6 weeks to come in. He also seems to have the summer lightened hair. Kate always uses photos from earlier times for birthdays as she does for Christmas card. Just don't try to say current when obviously it isn't. I think these light colored plaid shirts are his school uniform shirts also. Look back at the photo of the first day of school photo of all three kids finally able to go to the same school. Of course that photo was current when released.

They are doing a catch all chemo to make sure any remaining cells are killed as well. She is undergoing an unpleasant experience right now. She will be recovering from the major surgery and the chemo for a while.
