Peace can be tremendously intense because

I'm addressing this to Barkha Dutt specifically. I have been meditating for over an year now. I followed Sadhguru on Shivaratri 2020 as well and did the Shambho meditation with Guruji watching him on television. Next day onwards I continued the same meditation at home. I felt a 1000 voltage energy entering my body especially in my hands. I haven't changed as a person but my clarity on everything has changed. I'm addicted to the meditation and the energy entering into me. Sadhguru is my Guru. Sadhguru is my God. Hope to meet him in person one day but it's His blessings and compassion that he included me in this energy world. Thank you Sadhguru ji

Why does society always seem to need some kind of concrete way to recognise a guru? He needs no certificate, the fact that he speaks the truth with clarity is enough of a proof of who he is and what his sthana is. God is not a "belief" god is a reality. Its there, you just need to open your eyes and see it clearly. There's a reasonable basis to understanding god. Don't make conclusions about something which you know nothing about
We all have the capacity to be gurus... but it requires a total life commitment. A person has to become wisdom to such a degree that they have to sacrifice whatever life they may have been dreaming of or plans. Sometimes they have to move away from everyone & everything that's been familiar which requires much mental strength. I'm no guru. I just see that we have the ability if desired. Those are very different physical manifestations of energy.
For instance, in sound, frequency means pitch. A high-frequency sound is a high-pitch sound.
Intensity means volume. Therefore, you can have, for example, a low-volume high-pitch sound.

You cannot set a general criteria for a Guru. One must understand as there is a vast variety of learners or pupils (all learners are not at same level of understanding and awareness) so there has to be vast variety of Gurus. In worldly sense a student of KG class does not need a professor for learning. Similarly a student of post graduate class cannot learn anything worthwhile from a primary school teacher.
The one being a Guru must be truthful and selfless as two basic requirements.
