Just to clarify, she didn’t bring the case. In part 1 she talks about being subpoenaed and her repeated death threats stemming from people believing that she brought the case. It’s important for her to distinguish.
I had a serious conversation with myself about not pre-judging a person negatively based on limited information. I did that with SD and I think I have learned my lesson.
I believe she prefers being called Stormy Daniels. (Just this second realized that may be because that is in her past, so wants it associated with her 'past' name? Perhaps she prefers Stephanie Clifford for AFTER that period of her life?)
Keep in mind Stormy was 27 years old and Trump was 60 years old. Really makes a difference.

I have a lot of empathy for Stormy, through no fault of her own, or maybe her naivete, she was dragged into the Trump web, captured, abused and discarded on a false promise. Little wonder she felt used and abused and sort some sort of recompense. Now she finds herself a target, through no fault of her own for every deranged Trump acolyte, not just her but her family. Even if she survives, now thanks to the decision of the high court, also Trump acolytes, she faces the likelihood that she will be dragged in front of one of Trump's military tribunals to be further humiliated and abused and face whatever sanction Trump feels appropriate for having the temerity to embarrass him with the truth. People say God bless America, really? Cursed comes to mind, be afraid Americans, very afraid, the whole world is holding it's breath.
My first thought, when I read that she was going to testify, was that she's going to have to relocate to another country. Trump is mobbed up. Even if he loses, she needs to move to Europe or someplace.

It's not uncommon for someone who experiences trauma to block it out. Your mind just wants to forget it. Stormy Daniels has been forced to relive an unwanted experience again and again. If she had welcomed this and enjoyed it, she would remember it easily and with pleasure. You can look at her face during this interview and clearly see that she is not remembering a pleasurable, welcome experience.

Absolutely! 💪I said that to my husband before we even watched. I've never been physically abused by a man, but I've suffered trauma. Even without the "maggots" who threaten her life (under thinly veiled orders from the cult leader), it's STILL easier to stuff those memories in an attempt to just survive. 😢
She probably spent her life running from childhood trauma. People don't go into adult film acting, prostitution, or become addicted *(not that all those apply in her case) because it sounds like a good choice. It's a result of underlying shame, self-loathing, feeling unworthy of healthy relationships, and sometimes a profound inability to stand up for oneself. [I can see she's gotten past that last one!]😊

Rachel I’m a retired critical care flight paramedic, and former navy corpsman who suffers from PTSD. One of the most common S&S (signs and symptoms) of PTSD is he inability to remember specific details of the of the trauma causing event. Ms Daniel’s is suffering from PTSD!

Yes, the loss of blood to her extremities tells a powerful story. This is her body recognizing that she's in danger, even if she did her best to rationalize it. Then, her description of moving like she was in a fun house describes the dissociative state of perception that accompanies being trapped and feeling powerless, and ultimately traumatized. And, then immediately blaming herself for the aggression and threat of the other by asking herself what she'd done to cause the situation.
