The only role where the disparity in skill is eerily visible is arc as it is easier to aim with mnk. That is not to say there aren’t any insanely accurate console players. The Diamond console players in this lobby were bottom tier Diamond high tier plat. Poor engage and poor positioning. With a high dive and chase team that had a hades and nemesis, they really dropped the ball. Also, competitive is indeed cross platform. Has made it easier to weed out the fake gm console players, and the fact that there are some console players up there is enough proof to show you that some console players can match mnk players
I’ve played smite for years and mostly play controller but I have played quite a bit of mnk. Mnk on smite is so much easier than controller because you get so much more control over camera movement. That’s pretty much the main difference between the two, controller has a steady camera movement and it makes it hard to track movements and dashes close range
Yeah on MnK you can do 180's and sort of self peel with abilities if getting chased, while on controller you can't do it nearly as quickly and end up just dying
@@TheOnceandFutureJake no it’s controller problem. You have a set camera speed for turning so if someone dashes or teleports behind you then you can’t do a 180 like you can on mnk. Also when running away you can’t quickly spin around and place abilities

Controller always has to cross the middle axis of the stick to change direction, plus its a whole arm to move on 2 axis versus using a thumb to aim on three, pc aim is incredibly easy to use once adjusted to and there is seriously no strong argument that suggests its not easier than console
MnK has a huge advantage. It’s a lot easier to aim and turn when you can mouse flick and 180 super fast. Same with FPS games. When MnK try to act like controller players “suck”……they forget about that gigantic advantage

Sidebar: Achilles is by far my favorite god in mythology and smite. The execute chain is just so satisfying to land. The salt from teammates when you KS with it just makes it so much sweeter. That salt is like sugar... all I did was secure ;)
Smite players are way to focused on having top dmg and good KD they dont realize OBJs and team fight are far more important, lost way to many games from my team chasing kills and won many games because the other did the same
@@davyn9074 for sure. Objective play is the most important. It's always a feelsbad when you lose because your team doesn't know how to engage or team fight around objectives. Positioning is a HUGE problem for a lot of players I feel (myself included sometimes.)

M+k and controller should never be mixed in competitive games imo. They're just clearly different, and 90% of the time m+k has the inherent mechanical advantage

New meta where you invade enemy buffs to feast, reason to ward the jungle and purchase jungle starters. Buffs will be implemented only on drop camps including the Chester
Iirc they were struggling super hard to find any controller diamond players in the stream while there was a surpluss of MnK players so you could easily be right but thats just down to a lack of controller diamond players
Decision making is such a underated skill that doesn't get talked about enough. MnK has mechanical skill as an advantage but anyone can make good/bad decisions. And boy were the bad decisions plenty on the Controller side. MnK team would've won regardless of vs Controller or MnK. That Atlas singlehandedly put them back in the game though so good decision to stay and even better timing for those steals

Is it console players vs PC? Or are there console players using MnK, and Pc players using controllers? If they are on console there is built in voice chat, which is a huge disadvantage, should try and make these as even as possible, otherwise the experiment is pointless.
I think having targeted bans in a game like this is really scummy. Most of these people are coming from Ranked where you don't get to see player names, so punishing the players who participate in the sub league is a bad look. I think there were two(?) target bans thrown towards the Controller team. Most notably Tuzzie's Susano, which could possibly account for his less than stellar performance. Being less comfortable with the Nem could have been why he played more reserved and scared overall.
This video is just to trigger. Rank isn't balanced never has been before or after the merger, the merger made the imbalances worst. There just isn't enough players that play rank. I ran into massive trash from both console and PC players.
That lvl 9 nem gank on the lvl 11 chili was funny. when it happened I was like "What do you think you can do here my guy?" lol That Hades with poly and only ONE defense until like 4th item as a solo lane is pretty nice for the MNK team lol But to be fair to both those teams they should have played a set of matches like best of 5.
Maybe just console but hate ranked, try watching a ranked game in silver in bronze, people will literally do nothing, had a skadi game where I went 2 17 6 an topped the chart in everything, I was top dam top kill top gold and mitigated and I was carry by the way an the were blaming me saying I did nothing, people literally do nothing an will blame every one but themselves, I had to stop playing ranked for my sanity
@@CFallescence it only took me about 2 weeks after swapping to PC from ps4. VGS was the hardest but it was completely worth it. You can tell when you’re playing against a controller player, especially in duo.
I originally started as mouse &keyboard, but swapped to console to play ranked with friends. Now, I'd swap my account back to PC if I could. I don't want to lose all the skins/worshippers/etc. I've accumulated since season 2. I'd say that's a pretty valid reason to stay on controller.
Didn’t watch, only read the title. Yes it’s true, I’m on controller and pretty much everyone on the game is trash. From bronze to gm, I see nothing that impressed me nowadays. All I see is less than competent teammates or opponents. Common sense in certain situations in smite are just nonexistent to people I guess. Not just controller of course, pretty much everyone who isn’t me just sucks at the game. Idk what it is but people have more time played than me but never learn. All of you reading this probably suck too, you’re watching this video not for entertainment but for tutorials. Tragically I know this is true.
