I know you wont reply, but, why would you keep the branch circuit breakers outside when you could have put all of them in the basement? Every time a breaker would trip, you have to go outside to reset it? That's foolish.

Being that it’s a sub panel you do not have to bond it because the neutral cannot be a current current conductor and if you were to lose the Neutral on that sub panel and it was bonded Then everything will continue to work through the ground

Nice video.. question.. What size wire did the electric company use for this service and was it aluminum?

Didn't Xcel say anything about using a CT meter for the 400amps? We are in the process of upgrading the 200amp to 400amp not far from you. House is all electric with no gas service, we already confirmed 4/0 wire is in the ground from the transformer to meter....plan was to use 2 x 200amps main breaker panels, one for the whole house and one dedicated to ECOsmart ECO36 tankless water heater that draws 160amps when taking a shower. Xcel says we need a CT meter setup, but I like the equipment you were using with the 2 x 200amp main breakers....a lot of people have been asking in the comments what model/brand it is...please let us know....and if you have any feedback on why your not using a CT meter....thanks

I'm pretty sure it's the Siemens MC3042B1400SDL. Good luck finding it in stock! Before you order anything, make sure it is on your power company's list of approved devices.

What does the EGC routing look like on this?
Main panel -> Main Panel -> ground rod(s)?
