    Went up there last week and showed a friend how to fish a wacky rigged senko. His first fish of the day and first largemouth ever was 20 inches. My favorite way to fish for bass!

    I am wondering if I was there the same day you were... I think it was last Thursday and we were fishing the same side of the lake in a yellow flat deck pedal driven pontoon boat. Anyways, weeds were high, didnt catch much on topwater, in fast was hard to use whopper ploppers because of weeds but I put on a weedless weightless carolina rig lizard and they were gobbling it up even though it was pretty close to the surface being weightless. Caught about 20 total, half on senko, half on lizards, few on craws. Biggest was 3lbs. We enjoy your videos... Good job!

      Thanks man! Glad you were able to get into them. This was June 6th don’t remember seeing the craft your describing. Thanks for the tips though I need to try a Carolina rig one of these days. Heard good things about them just haven’t tried it yet.

    Is shore fishing decent there?

      I haven’t really shore fished here. But from the dam that runs north to south there is a weed bed out there they like to hang out in. I caught a 5lb in the fall about 20 yards off the dam.

    Ok noob question.. why use an o ring vs just side hook that worm? Also calling dibs on Kate riggins. Lol.

    • @ShootFishLife
      @ShootFishLife  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The o-ring will help your senko last longer. That’s why I said you do not need it but Yamamotos are very soft and without an o-ring you will probably only get one fish before you need a new one. What do you mean Kate riggins?

      @@ShootFishLife oh...just the way I use a hook. In the unlikely event I become famous gonna just call it that. LOL
