I prefer the ending to World War Z that we got, I think it is a restrained ending compared to traditional zombie action films. Might be in the minority, but I don't care.
I dig that movie too and a great third act after the plane crash. lots of tension in the scenes at the base as brad pitt and the team find the viruses. And an appearance from Doctor Who!!!
With passengers I’ve always thought the idea where Jim dies at the end leaving Aurora alone was better. That way she’s left thinking about doing what he did and then she and the audience a left with a very challenging question
Not just pinhead. Also Bruce Campbell was supposed to make an appearance as ash from evil dead in jason vs Freddy. Confirming Jason as a deadite. They even had the book from the Evil Dead movie in the 9th Friday the 13th movie to confirm it. But that got scrapped too. Along with pinhead.
Cars DID use that scene, in one of the short episodes later. Its when some bullies come into town and lightning has to race them, and they take a wrong turn through that forest, among other things.
The fact the predator killer was a weapon and not a person (human or otherwise) was such a letdown. An individual so much of a threat to the predators they were considered just as, if not more dangerous than any weapon
The version of the Arnie rumour I heard was that the pod and ‘Predator-killer’ concept was still in there, but much like the Newt/Ripley rumour stated here it was a previously abducted Dutch inside Similar of course to the rumour that Dutch was going to be the survivor hiding out on the hunting reserve planet in Predators and that he (not, or along with, Brody) would be escaping at the end
I thought the plan was for John Connor simply to die. Then his ally was going to take on his name and his cause so the messes would continue to believe in their leader. I also thought the only reason they didn't do this was because it got leaked.
I think you are right. The ending doesn't seem to fit how the story unfolds until that point. John convincing Marcus to take on his role would have made sense, seeing John accept Marcus and Marcus finally accept himself, ironically by becoming John.
What makers of Predator movies fail to understand about the original is that it's really a well-crafted action thriller about a team of mercenaries being manipulated by the CIA to do their dirty work...and then a f*cking alien shows up and starts killing everyone. In other words, you'd be watching this film even if the Predator wasn't in it- it's a strong story that makes way for another strong story, a sci-fi alien horror story that jumps into your military political thriller. The other movies often weren't as good until the Predator shows up, so you don't really care as much.
I Would Have Loved To See That Ending In Terminator Salvation, But That Wouldn't Have Made Sense With The Film's Sub Name Because John Would Not Have Been Saved In The End.
To add, and I guess this is controversial, as this is a beloved sequence, but the Moulin Rouge video release included a side by side video of the tango: one of the theatrical cut, and one of the dance filmed without the umpteen million jump cuts. It was nice to actually see the choreography. Our boy Baz does way too many cuts for my taste.
Fun Fact #7: The studio that owns the rights to Pinhead wouldn’t loan him out for that scene and that’s why they couldn’t go any further with the idea.
What?...No toppings on pizza? your not eating pizza your eating cheese bread with marinara sauce. lol No toppings on pizza must be a euro thing maybe.... 😄😁🤷♂ great show👍
Pizza Margherita (more commonly known in English as Margherita pizza) is a typical Neapolitan pizza, made with San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, salt, and extra-virgin olive oil.
Highlander: Endgame - Trailer showed the MacLeod’s fighting Kell together. One of them manages to hit the villain with his sword on top of the villain’s head the cut starts to glow splitting the villain in half. Then the two halves SEPARATE forming TWO whole villains. Imagine if they had kept this concept. Each one having one face a villain with this power.
heard of that terminator salvation alternative, but only to the part of Markus wearing John´s face pretending to be him,had no idea it continued further by grouping and killing
I just realized... Talia stabs Bruce? I thought Lucius said: “This sucker will stop a knife.”, when describing the Nomec Survival Suit in Batman Begins.
@kaizer992 true, but even if it was the Begins suit, where she stabbed him would be the weak point of the suit, the side of the gut. What gets me is she just goes straight into the side instead of at an angle so the most damage is done and the stomach or intestines are penetrated, which ensures death if no medical attention is received promptly.
I just assumed that the camera work during the WS fight scene was a deliberate stylistic choice--they were going for frantic: up until then, Steve had yet to find someone to go up against who made him have to pay attention/fight that hard.
Unfortunately, that happens a lot, characters and plot points seen as similar to a 'bigger' franchise, or at least one that hit the mainstream earlier are assumed to be inspired by said franchise, whether the first franchise had no connection to the second, or even, as is the case here, the second franchise inspired the first. That a journalistic site meant to know better made that mistake is... yeah.
@@medafan53 Marvel makes no bones that they modeled Thanos after Darkseid just like they modeled Deadpool after Deathstroke. I mean their names are Slade Wilson/Wade Wilson for pissakes.
@@Rockhound6165 I know, I make no argument of that, the point I was making is that people in the mainstream don't notice stuff like that, even some of the stuff that, for us seems 'mainstream' is still niche to them, so Thanos only really hit mainstream with the MCU, which is big enough to have hit mainstream, while Darksied is still not quite there, those who watched cartoons at the right age will know of him, but the general public don't, so they see the similarities, think 'well we knew this Thanos guy first' don't bother to dig deeper and assume Darksied is based on Thanos, not the other way around, as we know him to be.
Predictable plot twist? Well, I don't think I saw Talia being the mastermind and FREAKING BANE being just a pawn, when BANE is the guy who FIGURED OUT BRUCE WAYNE IS BATMAN BY WATCHING THEM BREATHE UNDER STRESS, and you know... BROKE The Bat. But maybe that's on me? Idk. Like, don't get me wrong... I probably saw Talia having a plan in mind... but I don't think I saw the way it specifically went, and probably couldn't have come up with that if you gave me 1000 attempts.
Posted six days ago but talking about Justice League as if ZSJL was never released? At least acknowledge that we eventually did see the scrapped scenes you're talking about 🤦🏼♂️
John Connor is actually a cyborg? I can dig it. Him killing everyone, not so much. Sorry, I don't want the villains to win. Same with killing all colonists in Passengers. Way too dark, dude, those movies are not about bleak endings. You can pull that one on an Alien or Predator film, maybe.
You're talking about the man who's hangover food is a bourbon biscuit sandwich. Now, admittedly, if you're not from the UK, you won't understand how weird that is...but trust us when we say it doesn't get much weirder.

@Rob Vegas yeah the actual character description on IMDB, labels his character as WHO Doctor as well.

The franchise needs a reboot!
@@hotclipsclub Prey was the best Predator film since the original. They needed a new direction, they took it, now they need to build on it.

Now one for TV shows!
All of the Predator sequels fell on their faces so Prey could sprint to the finish line.

Dutch back to in the predator series is something we’ve wanted forever now
Has this guy only just found the term "piecemeal " and decided to use it several times in one video?
Thanks for the List and Video 😀
A pizza without toppings is like a cheeseburger with no patty. Or cheese.
I think the camera cuts affected the WS fight more than location.

Yeah but the suit in the second and third movie was lighter and less armored so he could move faster.

Thanos-like Darkseid? Um, Marvel ripped off Darkseid not the other way around.

I agree with you 100%. If anything Nolan scrapping the ridiculous Talia death scene 😂 would have made the ending better IMO.
The Winter Soldier fight... that pre-vis has way too many sudden close ups. The scene we got was perfect.

So... Darkseid saying, "Fine. I'll do it myself.", as Thanos did, would've been better?
In Freddy VS Jason I always thought the Jason nightmare scene where Freddy pinballs Jason was ripped off from Vampire Hunter D.
is the way this video ended abruptly for once a take on the way cars segment did or a mistake?
Have you even seen ZSJL ? It literally has the Darkseid in it !!!
I like Terminator: Salvation!!
Nah, Ash should have come to try and save the they, making it the 2v1 we all wanted.
Love your content guys! 😊😊😊❤❤❤❤

I absolutely prefer zack synders justice league over joss whedons. It made much more sense and the story was drawn out and complete.
World War Z ending sounds proper shit 😂
I heard they were supposed to do a Freddy v Jason v Ash Williams v Mike Myers

It's truly baffling how many idiots online keep doging on Cars
I just love Predator!!
Terminator salvation one sounded better
The end of world War z was the only part I liked. The rest was just substandard generic zombie fare.
This is the first i've heard someone call Passengers problematic
It was a big trend a few years ago to hate on that movie
It is kind of a shitty thing to wake someone up like that
9:59 just when you thought you could watch a WC video without being preached SJW nonsense here we go again.
Hello
Good Bye
I will go to my grave calling WWZ by it’s original and correct title of World War Zed.
You do realize cheese is a pizza topping. Do you really do sauce on crust only? Doubtful :p

Passengers was super-uncomfortable to watch at times.
The Predator sucked!
