What about the gear ratio? The gear ratio of shine is too short, is this the case with SP125 too? The gear ratio is so short on Shine that the 1st gear is useful only to start the bike from a standstill otherwise 2nd gear is enough for slow traffic. The gear overlap is also quite less in Shine. Would you recommend this bike for City commute + 200-300km weekend rides?

Bhai There are some facts to be noticed, I am sharing with you. Honda designed new engine for bs6 sp125 and shine, bore and stroke are totally different comparing to bs3/bs4. That is Honda discontinued the bs3/bs4 engines of this bikes. Now it is interesting that bs6 glamour and super splendor has same bore and stroke as bs3/bs4 Honda shine sp. Also both has vertical engine as shine sp bs3/bs4. But new bs6 shine and sp125 has small inclined vertical engine. What a coincidence! Now there are some questions:- Is Hero developed this engines without any help Honda or others companies? Is Honda helps hero to develop this bs6 engines by making bs3/bs4 shine sp? Bhai Please consider my observation and make an investigation to clear it.

Parle tyre se nahi, Gaadi ke balance se farak padta hai. Agar 70 ke speed me achanak brake marne se gaadi ki uniformity pe effect padega,to hi slip khayegi bike. Mere paas achiever 150 hai80/100 tyres,80 above pe bhi jaise brake maaru,wahi gaadi khadi ho jati,because of good balance
