I could never defend myself when teachers screamed at me. I was always SUPER shy. Also I was busy trying not to cry. So seeing kids do this has me on the edge of my seat in shock. XD
I remember when I went to a school that was connected to the high school and middle school. Our bus driver hated me because I was the little sister of my two older brothers. My mom bought me a jacket with headphones, I was listening to music and reading one day on the way home. She stops the bus, walks to the middle of it where I am sitting. She yanked the headphones out of my ear and yells at me to sit in the front, keep in mind that I was in elementary. My brothers asked why, she said it was because I was being "loud" with the other students. My brothers told me to stay where i was, my eldest brother takes out his phone and calls our dad whilst she's yelling at me to move. She grabbed my arm and took me to the front seats and threatens to kick my brothers off the bus to walk home (it was around 98° or so). My MOM gets there before my dad does and shit hit the fan. We got a new bus driver that week 😅 she was really nice, she used to work with my family before switching jobs.
@Ingoc no not really. It’s a racial slur used against pocblack people. No it wasn’t ok for the student to call him that, but the teacher shouldn’t have said it back (he was white I believe). That’s not only offensive to the student, but also poc/black people in general. It is not fair at all, and just plain racist.
@@blackcrow3718 I agree with you the kids are just being little shits and I feel bad for the teachers because they are being very disrespectful to them

@@ludislol yes lmfao, the kid was dumb for being on his phone but the tecaher was even dumber for blowing up like that and screaming the n-word, completely unprofessional he clearly has no control over his emotions and seeing how worn out his voice was he probably blows up at students like this often
@@DarkPablo the n word pass isn't a real thing, either way it's racist, he's white and saying that to black person is like.. really bad. Slave owners called slaves that.
I once defended a friend from my horrible math teacher (who was incredibly creepy and rude in general. He would also force people in random sports) and he never yelled again 💪
What's sad is that something similar happened to me with a bus driver in middle school. I never caused trouble but it felt like she picked on me the whole year. I was the only kid that got into trouble on the bus. She even went so far as to put me in the seat closest to the door and wouldn't let me get off until everyone else was off the bus. The last straw was when she tried push me back into my seat because I tried to get off the bus first when someone else let me go in front of them. Long story short, I got suspended for a week because i called her a bitch when she pushed me. Then a few friends and I told my school and my parents about it and the checked security footage and she got fired.
This is exactly the reason why I hated my elementary school and middle school and Junior high school. Many of my teachers used to yell it me all the time for just making small simple mistakes that we can easily get over. There were a couple teachers that were chill with me about mistakes but the others acted like foolish kindergartners. And the students would treat me the exact same way with screaming at me and doing other things to bully me that I hated.
When I was in the 4th grade, my teacher used to hit me in the head with a metal chalk holder and parade me in front of the class and tell me that I was stupid. She tried that on a kid the next year whose parents were in the PTA and she got fired.
@@Candle_Jack776 that’s incredibly dehumanizing and frankly disrespectful. Bordering on disgusting actually. I don’t know how you manage to harbor so much hatred and bitterness for a whole generation of people, especially considering the fact that we’re the ones who are gonna paying for your social security, and keeping your life support maintained when you get old. That is, unless you’re one of those self-hating zoomers.
@@MultiSuperguy101 in the right? Are you dumb? Dude the gym teacher was literally yelling the hard r at the student. That’s literally not ok. You clown
On the other hands, yeah the kid on the bus seemed to be in the right. I don’t see why you just can’t sit with someone else on the damn school bus, even without context. Hell my school buses were so packed that the only people who didn’t have people sitting next to them were the annoying middle schoolers in the back.
A student once said, “I hate how teachers think they can yell and then pretend like nothing happened”. And that stuck with me. Gaslighting students into submission is not okay. If you have to start yelling you already lost control of the class.
Oh yeah for sure! In College, Professor’s are sooo easygoing compared to high school as in college the professor’s recognize you as an adult instead of a young adult! I’ve been able to call some of my professors by their first name! :)
Yeah, I used to be like this. I would talk back to a teacher if they were being completely unreasonable. I did it maybe once or twice every few years but every year there would be this one kid that didn't think twice before saying shit. I now see how obnoxious we were being, we were stupid but sometimes I still think they were right to say something that they said because it was true but most of it just seems stupid to me now that I'm an adult in college.
These teachers don’t get it. You don’t let students get into debates with you. If somebody isn’t behaving, you just give them detention and they have to stay after school. You don’t get into verbal warfare and lose your cool. If the entire class is criticizing you, then give them all detention. If they don’t show up, then let the principal and the family handle it.
@@Cancelthebritish1234 i’m not saying he’s a good teacher. I’m saying there’s a better way to handle disruptive students than screaming like this idiot does.
Wtf r u on about. They decided to put words in the teachers mouth and say “you can’t say that about his religion” when did she ever get into his religion?? She said “ur shirt says obedient but you’re not being very obedient right now” and the other girls start saying “no no you can’t say his religion is bad” like wtf why are they bringing religion into shit the teacher literally said “I’m not getting into that I’m just talking about the word on his shirt”. That was crazy disrespectful they were trying to start shit and they started laughing at her as soon as she left
@@kachoww5981 to be honest I don't know either. The only I can see why they said something about religion is if the teacher said something about it earlier before the camera went on.
I can’t say I blame teachers for losing their tempers from time to time, especially high school teachers. Teenagers can be incredibly cruel. I once had a teacher who stormed out of the class crying and other students were laughing… it’s pretty sickening.
My teacher did the same thing because no one was really paying attention. She left the room crying, and the kids in my class kept talking. However, she usually had to gaslight us to get our attention.
Him saying nigger is like a black guy calling white people crackers, or asians chinks. I dont see why he shouldnt get backlash for that(obviously doesnt deserve to be divorced/physically injured, but i wouldnt want to hire someone like that)
I seen some teachers lose their absolute shit in my day but 99% of the time it was baited by the class lol. We legit had one teacher who had some kind of alergy to something in a lot of perfumes, kids would get into the class early and spray her entire desk and chair with their perfumes and she would actually get really ill and have to leave. @@Aromatic-ring regardless he is a child and is in the wrong.. it is completely inappropriate talking to an adult like that. He is allowed to be angry but he did not have to curse and call her names to get his point across.
I have a lot of cognitive dissonance when watching these videos I am a teacher and understand that students need to be respectful to their teachers ( and I need to be respectful to them. It is a two way street) However, I also have a natural distrust of authority and can understand wanting to question those in power. To be clear: these teachers are awful at dealing with kids. The minute you engage in an argument and raise your voice, you have lost their respect.
You're exactly right, in most of these clips you can tell that the students are actually enjoying the teacher getting angry. I'm a paraprofessional at a high school and I've seen stuff like this happen, students will deliberately behave in ways that they know will make a teacher get angry and yell. Then when there is another teacher in for the day as a sub, the students are well behaved. So I agree that once you get angry and raise your voice then they already got what they want and they will keep doing it, also I've been taught to never touch or appear to want to get physical with a student like the gym teacher in the video did otherwise you could get in serious trouble or fired.
I thank both of you for your service as teachers, however, with all due respect, the only thing I see here are wacked-out students being rude, provoking the teachers to anger for their and their peer's entertainment. It's sick! I agree, teachers don't need to get physical or yell, BUT, since it's a two-way street, the students don't need to get physical and yell either. The teacher who insulted the Christian student was the only one I found to be in the wrong. Not sure what he was doing before the video started rolling but insulting someone because of his Faith is below the belt. The other vids seem to be of annoying students being stupid. P.S. I'm not a teacher and I'm in my twenties.
They didn’t lose anything, if the students had respect for the teachers in the first place the wouldn’t have been acting in a way that has the teachers yelling.
@@housekilla457 No situation with a child should escalate to the point of you yelling unless they're in immediate danger. If they're that disruptive to the class then they need to leave, if they won't leave then call someone else in to help bring them out of the room. I would never yell at a student about how they should respect me and "be obedient", they are fully autonomous humans. They're at the age where they can learn that actions have consequences, if they don't respect the teacher they will leave, if they're gone too much from class they will fail. As a teacher, yelling just makes you look stupid, especially when taken out of context like in these videos. Everyone can respect the kind and patient teacher that is still firm with discipline. Yelling just makes them yell, makes the teacher frustrated, and escalates the situation to a point it should never go to. Also, these are high school students that are dealing with stress, hormones, social status, and way more than the teachers could ever know. -I'm an ESL teacher in Vietnam.
Technically, a teacher's job (by definition) is to TEACH. Hence their title. All the other stuff is extra, and although it's admirable, it isn't required. Know a subject then teach it. Any other thing that teachers have are qualities. Plus, it isn't about if it's the student's job to be a "gOoD sTuDeNt". It isn't anyone's "job" to be good at all. It's called being a decent human being, of which ALL people need to learn regardless of their place in the world (lawyer, doctor, architect, student, teacher, etc.). This isn't about occupation. It's about common sense and decency which is rare these days apparently.
Jeon Jungkook woah woah woah, lets think about this. Thousands of people have seen this video and maybe just maybe this guy has the same idea as another. I know its sounds pretty wild and hard to believe
Can we talk about how the one in the red shirt at like 5:00 was completley justified and handled the situation like a real adult? He didnt yell or scream, he just sternly told the kid to get out because he was disrupting class. Granted that class is probably absolutely useless to everyone in there but thats school ig
i was thinking that. i was like why is no one talking about it. like yea the class is probably pointless and the students dont want to be there but nor does the teacher probably, like
Had a teacher try to yell me down because I was working alone, anxiety, during group work. I just packed up and walked out of the room quietly. The teacher never bothered me again
Why would the teacher yell at you for working alone....maybe you couldn’t get a partner to work with? Maybe the teacher should pair you up with someone else.
@@youngb1ood He insisted on it remaining a partnered assignment, I was so anxious I was basically mute. Most teachers just allowed it since I had top marks, so I never thought of choosing partners, just keeping myself together. He did try to partner me up with one of the boys in a 3-person group. This was hs so the thought of being the weird girl he had to work with instead of his friends would make it impossible for me to do any work/help. I told the teacher, respectfully, I rather work alone. He took it as a slight to his authority
It just gives someone more anxiety when ridiculing them for wanting to work alone. When I work on group projects, I get nervous, sweaty, and feel incredibly useless. I hate group projects so much.
Makes me glad that I had teachers who would pair me up with friends or who would work with me themselves because of my anxiety. Specifically my French teacher in senior year, she never pushed me to pick a partner and because I got all my work done she would just work with me herself on anything that required partner work. Anxiety sucks man, I'm sorry that happened to you.

however, and i contradict myself here, if a student initiates a problem, there is only one way to deal with it in my eyes-to handle it maturely and be polite. if that fails, teachers shouldn’t immediately go to screaming, cursing, and yelling offensive slurs. kids act like kids-immature, crazy, aggressive at times, even. but these teachers should learn how to deal with it more authoritatively and like adults should.

I have a lot of cognitive dissonance when watching these videos
I am a teacher and understand that students need to be respectful to their teachers ( and I need to be respectful to them. It is a two way street)
However, I also have a natural distrust of authority and can understand wanting to question those in power.
@@housekilla457
No situation with a child should escalate to the point of you yelling unless they're in immediate danger.

Sometimes I feel like teachers aren’t even teachers, their just miserable old 49 year old people looking for something to make fun of someone.
maybe
Or there getting tired of BS from kids and can't do what they should be able to do and that's knock some sense into them.
Dude, the students on these videos were all inmature. No a single guuys was listening. They are a clear example of being young and stupid.
Like the teacher who made fun of the one student by playing the trumpet in his face....wait I think I mixed sum up
It’s sometimes students and sometimes teachers theres no one sided situations
