I recently had my LBS replace the bearings on my Hunt wheels and after riding a couple rides, noticed slipping in the cassette and a whishing noise. After removing wheel for inspection I noticed when I replaced it, I couldn’t get into largest cog. Thought I would need to index gears, but in reality it was all the signs of what you were describing about the width increasing. LBS worked on it and acknowledged that it wasn’t installed correctly. Working good for now. Hopefully my LBS watched this video! Thanks!
Hi. Do you have any idea on how to build a eltrical bicycle generator? If you used a crank type of generator to charge something like a battery would you need anything extra like resistors?

Totally do need. You need to build a voltage rectifier to keep voltage from fluctuating.
