I love the turbines! I had the garbage truck from the late 1960’s with the hard tires/white walls I think. I loved that thing and played with it all the time Awesome Video! I love those trucks.👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🔥🔥🔥💪❤️❤️🇺🇸
@@RABSTRAINS thanks so much! Just gave you a shoutout on my live video too! I love your channel🙂 yes I almost scored an early garbage truck last week but I lost the auction ☹️ oh well there will be more!
When I started collecting I never had any desire to get into the Turbines but whenever I would buy a bundle of Tonkas there would be a turbine in there. Sadly I have sold a couple of them. The nicest one was a snorkel with all the accessories that was in mint condition. So I believe that I am approaching probably in the area of 10 or more Turbines. Still love the Mightys the most but the Turbines have grown on me. Great informative video as always.
@@davidtorres4041 thank you David! I still regret not buying that snorkel from you when I was down there and coming to visit. My circumstances may be changing this winter and I may be able to make it down for the toy show 😃 we shall see what happens
@@sylvainburelle9102 I bet! There are a bunch of older tankers too from the late 50s but they bring 6-700 each 😳 I stay away from the early 60s and earlier toys they are way out of my price range for one toy

I had a smaller dump truck with a drag with a bulldozer/backhoe? Maybe red cab? The cab was a conventional cab, not flat. Like a pickup truck. I was 14 in 1979 so TONKAS were done for me at that point.
@@RABSTRAINS oh cool. Yes I don’t get into the early 60s and earlier stuff especially the lowboys as they tend to bring big bucks $$$$ but I’m always on the lookout for a deal 🙂
@@sylvainburelle9102 oh there are lots of different color Tonkas. Yellow, different oranges, different blues, greens, beige, white, black, chrome, gold, there are a ton. I’ve seen most but every once in a while a private label truck pops up that I haven’t seen. That’s the best part of collecting Tonkas, I know people that have been in it for decades that still find new stuff. Keeps it fresh 🙂
