I loved the show and many wonderful cars. For me, I think the 1973 Cadillac Coupe DeVille is still tops but that is just me. For you Christophe, a vintage Alpha Romero would be so you. Class and long term quality.
The one who designed that silver Packard Aquarius was almost a century ahead of his time. Amazing car. It might have some suspension that lifts it when driving, as you were wondering about how this is going to drive so close to the ground.
Packard had excellent engineering. They even had load stabilizers on the rear end. If you put anything heavy in the trunk and just as the trunk would bottom out, a timer and sensor would raise the rear end leveling out the car.

I can tell your not into cars when you are looking at a 1955 Mercedes 300 SL with the iconic gull wing doors open, and your impressed with the matching luggage 😂 That car is worth several million dollars, and influenced a generation of cars. The most rare and most expensive cars you were looking at was the Carol Shelbie’s Ford Shelby Cobras. The Cobra has an iconic and interesting racing history. Loved seeing those cars, wish I was there.

"Dietrich" is the Coachbuilder, they made custom bodies and these bodies were installed on many custom built Packards. You could buy a Packard chassis and engine and put a custom body on the frame or order a stock car with a factory body and keep it as is. Anytime you see "Dietrich" that means its a custom body that wasn't built in the Packard factory but built by the coachbuilder Dietrich. That blue Packard is a beauty. Swanson didn't use a Packard in Sunset Boulevard. Swanson's Car was a 1931 limo "Isotta Fraschini", an Italian made vehicle that cost around $25,000 new. "Darrin" was another coachbuilder that Packard used. Howard Darrin had beautiful designs as well and they were popular with Hollywood stars, he originated in France and moved to California and opened up shop in the 1930s. Back in those days, Dietrich, Darrin, Fleetwood (which was later a Cadillac model) and LeBaron were popular custom body makers in those days but weren't the only ones. Chrysler ended up buying LeBaron. When you ordered a new Packard or other luxury make in those days everything was custom ordered. On GM vehicles into the 1990s their cars would have a logo "Body By Fisher", usually on the rocker panel plate which stood for Fisher body of Detroit. GM bought the company from the brothers in the 1920s for around $200 million and they continued to run the subsidiary and became GM board members.
