    Just a heads up, those pieces of wood with nails sticking out for the frame are called tack strips. They are use for carpeting and can be found at any hardware store.

    Center pull cakes works great for yarn feeding! Have you tried with them just sitting on the floor? That removes the unnecessary friction from the top eyebolts and the wood dowels. Also, the extra distance allows the yarn to untangle itself before arriving to the gun. Keep sharing your tufting adventures!

    Monks cloth works better for needle punching. Primary tufting cloth is better for tufting with a gun. Burlap can work but diagonal lines are more difficult and it’s easier to rip a hole. The primary cloth is forgiving by comparison.

    Here’s a challenge, if you choose to accept. Lol. When you make your larger frame can you please record it! Oh. And make the frame ADJUSTABLE so you could hang monks cloth for small frames or large frames without wasting a bunch of cloth.

    Okay so, how would you go about washing it? That's my largest question overall. How long will it hold up over time?..... I am so highly interested in getting this equipment.

      Im not an expert, but probably washing it on delicate in your washer and then letting it air dry would be best
