- The video pretty much sums it up, but I wanted to do this so that maybe someone out there will be touched and also continue this chain of PAY IT FORWARD.
My name is Alex Rios of Edinburg, Texas. I wanted to surprise my employee Veronica Solis with a car of her own. She is a cancer survivor and has inspired my life to never give up and always work hard. Earlier this week, I did call Vero because she was going into work late. She started crying (I never really get after my employees) and she said for me to look for another employee because she did not have a car and had no one to give her a ride. After hanging up with her, I felt in my heart to just go buy her a car. It is not everyday that we can do something like this for other people, but right now that I am able to, why not do it for someone that cares for you and takes good care of your business. ENJOY THE VIDEO!
Who cares how old the car is? The reason i liked this video is because he helped someone in need and made their life easier.

This only happens when bosses and employees share the same work floor and interact with each other. This doesn't happen when bosses sit in the fancy offices far away from the general work force. Good job sir!.

The car may be old, but damn she lucky. I'm working 3 jobs in Norway (riches country) and I still haven't got a car.... Only candy and cake. Dont jugde, this boss is cool

funny the man did something great for someone else. Even greater it was his employee. How many companies would have just let her go. 99.99% . Great man. I see some negative comments about it was a old car. Those same people need to ask them selves when the last time they did something nice for someone else. Yeah that's what I thought.

This sounds so wrong haha, but I understand what you mean, still sounds very wrong.
The only thing I had an issue with was this woman NEVER missed a day even when she was going through chemotherapy, she was loyal and loved her job and all the thanks she gets was a call from her boss complaining about her being late. Glad he finally realized how valuable she is (although almost giving her a heart attack when she told him to find someone new) and decided to help her instead.

You are a good man. I don't know why more bosses don't understand that if you treat your employees well and value them they will work their hearts out for you. Some bosses treat their employees like dirt and wonder why they can't get anyone to do a good job. I am sure all the employees of this daycare love their jobs and go out of their way to do a great job because they know they are valued and appreciated:)

Well done Alex! It is rare to find an employee with such love and devotion to their job, but what is more rare is an employer who would rather help than to hire someone else. You are a class act, and the world needs more of the BOTH of you.

This is such a heartwarming, precious gift! I'm trying to write this through tears. Having been in her shoes I know how hard the stress can weigh you down no matter how hard you fight or work to pull out of it. Bad health can wipe a persons life right out from under them and hard to get back on your feet. This act of kindness was so selfless, he could have easily hired another person that had a car but he say her heart and the need, to love a job is a rare thing so he is blessed to have her work for him. May they both continue to gain many blessings
Praise God! She's cancer-free, he's blessed with an amazing business, he appreciates his staff enough to pay it forward, she's blessed to keep her job, and he blessed her with a car! Miracles abound!!!

I never known daycares to have a laundry room. He made sure to show that off. 🤣🤣🤣
that is so awesome that they get fresh food every single day. plus a women that really knows what's she's doing in the kitchen and they do your laundry? my kids are going there. and she deserves a car and she deserves to be happy. women like her are much needed in this day and age. what a great boss.

This man impressed me - it isn't just the car that impressed me, it is his attitude towards his business and his employees. The employees go above and beyond for him because they respect him and they understand how much he is proud of his daycare centre. They even wash the children's clothes when they need to. I have never seen another daycare centre with a laundry! He bought his employee a car because he understands that she does not have the money for one herself and he doesn't want to lose her. She told him to hire someone else so that he could be sure an employee will be there on time in the mornings. He said "I don't want someone else - I want you", so he made it possible for her to get to work on time. I have never had a boss that had that much consideration for employees!!

My Father passed away when he was 62, so my Mother has been living on his social security. This was around '87. They had an '84 Toyota Cressida which started giving my Mom repair bills she couldn't afford. Then I discovered, she was driving my lowered '87 Nissan P/U because she no longer trusted the Cressida, so I took her car, detailed it and traded it in on a new '88 Toyota Corolla. She was happy. She kept that car till '00. It had 135K because she was baby sitting her granddaughter, so when my Mom came to visit, I asked her what car she wanted next? She wanted a Saturn. I tried to talk her into another Toyota but she wanted a Saturn. So I took her to the dealer and had her pick the car she wanted. In 2010, she quit driving and gave me the car back with 65K. She passed away in 2014 and I've been driving the car ever since. Though I had a brother and sister, I bought both cars on my own. The Saturn now has 113K.

Holy cow, for this hard working woman without her own means of transportation, this means everything.
For crying out loud -- #giving someone a car who doesn't have one is the ultimate generous gift.
Doesn't matter how old or what kind of car, I'm positive he made sure it was operable & reliable and she wholeheartedly appreciated it.
He has integrity..
and she now has hope (and cancer free!)👍
